Abstract
A communications network is provided. The network preferably includes a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) wired network and a mobile phone. The mobile phone preferably includes a first radio control code for communicating with a wireless mobile phone network and a second radio control code for communicating over the VoIP network. The mobile phone includes a speaker and a microphone. The network may operate in a state of communication such that the microphone of the mobile phone is operational to receive audio signals and transmit the audio signals over the VoIP and the speaker of the mobile phone is non-operational.
