Abstract

The invention teaches devices and methods for chemically tanning human skin. It is emphasized that this abstract is provided to comply with the rules requiring an abstract that will allow a searcher or other reader to quickly ascertain the subject matter of the technical disclosure. It is submitted with the understanding that it will not be used to interpret or limit the scope or meaning of the claims.

Claims

1. A method of applying a tanning solution, comprising:

passing a tanning solution for tanning human skin through a first nozzle;

the first nozzle maintained in a chamber and anchored therein at a fixed height; and

the first nozzle operates such that as the solution leaves the first nozzle a mist of tanning solution is generated in the chamber.

2. The method of claim 1 further comprising passing the tanning solution through a second nozzle,

the second nozzle maintained in the chamber at a fixed height, and

the second nozzle having a second nozzle operates such that as the solution leaves the second nozzle a mist of tanning solution is generated in the chamber, the mist from the second nozzle being substantially directed into the mist from the first nozzle.

3. The method of claim 1 wherein a first tube is coupled to the nozzle and is stationary with respect to the nozzle.

4. The method of claim 1 wherein the chamber is sufficiently large to hold an entire person therein.

5. A method of applying a tanning solution, comprising:

passing a tanning solution through at least two nozzles, each nozzle secured in a chamber sufficiently large to hold an entire person therein, such that as the solution leaves the nozzle a fog is generated in the chamber;

holding the fog in the chamber for a predetermined time; and

evacuating the fog from the chamber.

6. The method of claim 5 wherein the tanning solution is a combination of a first tanning solution and a second tanning solution.

7. The method of claim 5 wherein the tanning solution is a combination of a tanning solution and a moisturizer.

8. The method of claim 5 further comprising the act of selecting a combination of at least on tanning solution and at least one moisturizing solution.

9. The method of claim 5 further comprising delivering a moisturizer through the nozzle via a moisturizer solution container coupled to the pump system, the moisturizer delivery determined by a control system coupled to the pump system.

10. A system that generates a fog with a tanning solution, comprising:

an outer shell;

at least one nozzle maintained in and affixed to a fog chamber;

the nozzle in fluid communication with the fluid-holding tubes;

the nozzle capable of turning a tanning fluid into a fog by passing the fluid there-through; and

a user control panel disposed upon the outer shell, the user control panel providing a user the ability to select a tanning solution from a plurality of tanning solution choices for passing through the nozzle.
