Abstract

In embodiments, the present invention provides a method and system for presenting a sponsored mobile coupon to a mobile communication facility based at least in part on a relevancy, wherein the relevancy is based at least in part on a mobile subscriber characteristic, redeeming the coupon at an offline sponsor location using the mobile communication facility, recording conversion of the coupon in a conversion data repository, transmitting the conversion data repository to a wireless carrier, and analyzing the conversion data repository to determine an action.

Claims

1. A method comprising:

presenting a sponsored mobile coupon to a mobile communication facility based at least in part on a relevancy, wherein the relevancy is based at least in part on a mobile subscriber characteristic;

redeeming the coupon at an offline sponsor location using the mobile communication facility;

recording conversion of the coupon in a conversion data repository;

transmitting the conversion data repository to a wireless carrier; and

analyzing the conversion data repository to determine an action.

2. The method of claim 1 wherein the action is replenishing the inventory of a merchandise item.

3. The method of claim 1 wherein the action is making payment to a mobile carrier.

4. The method of claim 1 wherein the action is sending customer warranty information.

5. A method comprising:

presenting a sponsored mobile coupon to a mobile communication facility based at least in part on a relevancy, wherein the relevancy is based at least in part on wireless provider data;

redeeming the coupon at an offline sponsor location using the mobile communication facility;

recording conversion of the coupon in a conversion data repository;

transmitting the conversion data repository to a wireless carrier; and

analyzing the conversion data repository to determine an action.

6. The method of claim 5 wherein the wireless provider datum is based at least in part on content relationships relating to the progression of a user sessions.

7. The method of claim 5 wherein the wireless provider datum is based at least in part on content discovery of new websites.

8. The method of claim 5 wherein the wireless provider datum is based at least in part on access statistics.

9. The method of claim 5 wherein wireless provider datum is based at least in part on usage statistics.

10. The method of claim 5 wherein the wireless provider datum relates to a stage in an online buying process based at least in part on a mobile content type that is being accessed.

11. The method of claim 5 wherein the wireless provider datum is based at least in part on a user'"'"'s interaction with a website following conversion of a content item.

12. The method of claim 5 wherein the wireless provider datum is based at least in part on a navigation request received from the mobile communication facility.

13. A method comprising:

presenting a sponsored mobile coupon to a mobile communication facility based at least in part on a relevancy, wherein the relevancy is based at least in part on a user transaction;

redeeming the coupon at an offline sponsor location using the mobile communication facility;

recording conversion of the coupon in a conversion data repository;

transmitting the conversion data repository to a wireless carrier; and

analyzing the conversion data repository to determine an action.

14. The method of claim 13 wherein the user transaction is an online product purchase.

15. The method of claim 13 wherein the user transaction is an ad conversion.

16. A method comprising:

presenting a sponsored mobile coupon to a mobile communication facility based at least in part on a relevancy, wherein the relevancy is based at least in part on a usage history;

redeeming the coupon at an offline sponsor location using the mobile communication facility;

recording conversion of the coupon in a conversion data repository;

transmitting the conversion data repository to a wireless carrier; and

analyzing the conversion data repository to determine an action.

17. The method of claim 16 wherein the usage history is a browse history.

18. The method of claim 16 wherein the usage history is an ad conversion history.

19. A method comprising:

presenting a sponsored mobile coupon to a mobile communication facility based at least in part on a relevancy, wherein the relevancy is based at least in part on a location;

redeeming the coupon at an offline sponsor location using the mobile communication facility;

recording conversion of the coupon in a conversion data repository;

transmitting the conversion data repository to a wireless carrier; and

analyzing the conversion data repository to determine an action.

20. The method of claim 19 wherein the location is a previous location.

21. The method of claim 19 wherein the location is a current location.

22. The method of claim 19 wherein the location is determined according to location coordinates of a particular mobile communication facility.

23. The method of claim 19 wherein the location is determined by a user entered location.

24. The method of claim 19 wherein the location is a plurality of geographic regions.

25. The method of claim 19 wherein the location is determined according to a distance from a specified location.
