Abstract

A communication terminal apparatus includes a situation change detecting unit that detects a change in external situation and transmits an external situation change detection signal, and a control unit that receives the external situation change detection signal, thereby reads out a predetermined function and/or setting stored in a storing unit, and changes the functions and/or setting.

A communication terminal apparatus comprising;

a detecting unit that acquires a brightness level corresponding to ambient brightness around the apparatus;

a determining unit that determines whether or not the brightness level is smaller than a given level; and

a setting unit that sets an incoming call setting of the apparatus to a vibration mode when the brightness level is smaller than the given level.

A communication terminal apparatus comprising;

a detecting unit that acquires a current location of the apparatus;

a determining unit that determines whether or not the current location is in a given area where talking on the apparatus is unsuitable; and

a setting unit that sets a setting of the apparatus so that an incoming call sound becomes silent or a supply of power to the apparatus stops.

A communication terminal apparatus comprising;

a gravity sensor that acquires an inclination level corresponding to an inclination of the apparatus;

a determining unit that determines toward where an antenna of the apparatus directs based on the inclination level; and

a setting unit that sets a setting for a telephone number, mail address, incoming call volume, or incoming call sound of the apparatus based on the direction of the antenna.

A communication terminal apparatus comprising;

a first housing;

a second housing that is connected to the first housing by a hinge so as to be removable between a closed state and an open state;

a determining unit that acquires an opening level corresponding to an opening degree of the second housing with respect to the first housing; and

a setting unit that sets a setting for a telephone number or mail address of the apparatus based on the opening level.

A communication terminal apparatus possibly having a first phone number and a second phone number, the apparatus comprising;

a detecting unit that acquires a current location of the apparatus;

a determining unit that determines whether the current location is in a given area; and

a setting unit that sets a phone number of the apparatus to the first phone number when the apparatus is in the first area and sets the phone number to the second phone number when the apparatus is in an area other than the given area.
