Abstract

A method and apparatus for generating prompt information of a mobile terminal are disclosed. The method includes: selecting a start point and an end point in a multimedia file; clipping a part of the multimedia file between the start point and the end point in the multimedia file; and encoding the clipped part of the multimedia file, and generating prompt information of the mobile terminal. An apparatuses for generating prompt information of a mobile terminal is also disclosed. Therefore, the present invention enables a user to control the generation of prompt information of a mobile terminal.

Claims

1. A method for generating prompt information of a mobile terminal comprising:

selecting a start point and an end point in a multimedia file;

clipping a part of the multimedia file between the start point and the end point in the multimedia file; and

encoding the clipped part of the multimedia file and generating prompt information of the mobile terminal.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the multimedia file is an audio file, a video file or a flash file.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein there is one or more clipped multimedia files.

4. The method of claim 2, wherein the encoded multimedia file has an alignment frame.

5. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

setting the start point in multimedia information as a start point of prompt information of the mobile terminal, wherein the start point is used as a play start ID; and

setting the end point in multimedia information as an end point of prompt information of the mobile terminal, wherein the end point is used as a play end ID.

6. The method of claim 3, wherein the clipped multimedia files are clipped from multiple multimedia files, and further comprising:

selecting a start point and an end point in multiple multimedia files;

clipping and associating parts between the start point and the end point in the multiple multimedia files, wherein the parts of the multimedia files are decoded and played in sequence, and generating an association file; and

recording a play sequence, and the start point and end point of the multimedia files in the association file, and generating prompt information of the mobile terminal.

7. The method of claim 6, wherein the multimedia files are audio files, video files, flash files, vibration information, or light twinkle information.

8. The method of claim 6, wherein the clipped multimedia files are associated and played in serial or parallel mode.

9. An apparatus for generating prompt information of a mobile terminal, comprising:

a selecting module, adapted to select a start point and an end point in a multimedia file;

a clipping module, adapted to clip a part of the multimedia file between the start point and the end point in the multimedia file; and

a generating module, adapted to encode the clipped part of the multimedia file, and generate prompt information of the mobile terminal.

10. The apparatus of claim 9, comprising:

a setting module, adapted to set the start point in multimedia information as a start point in prompt information of the mobile terminal, wherein the start point is used as a play start ID and set the end point in multimedia information as an end point of prompt information of the mobile terminal, wherein the end point is used as a play end ID.

11. An apparatus for generating prompt information of a mobile terminal, comprising:

a selecting module, adapted to select a start point and an end point in multiple multimedia files;

a clipping module, adapted to clip parts between the start point and the end point in the multiple multimedia files, wherein the parts of the multimedia files are encoded and played in sequence;

an association file generating module, adapted to associate the parts of the multimedia files clipped by the clipping module, and generate an association file; and

a prompt information generating module, adapted to record a play sequence, and the start point and end point of the multimedia files in the association file, and generate prompt information of the mobile terminal.
