5. A method for determining a plurality of consumers qualified to receive marketing materials, comprising:

updating a database comprising consumer credit data stored on a mainframe computer system with current consumer credit data; determining the differences between the current consumer credit data and the previously stored consumer credit data to form difference data; passing the difference data from a mainframe computer system to an open systems computer system; scoring the difference data to update the credit score for each consumer in the database; and filtering the scored difference data to obtain the plurality of consumers qualified to receive marketing materials.
