Abstract

A measurement device. The measurement device comprises a note control component, adapted to obtain and record a note that is input with respect to a measuring event of the measurement device; and a Central Processing Unit (CPU), adapted to link the note with the measuring event.

Claims

1. A system of note taking for measurement devices, comprising:

a measurement device, adapted to perform measurement in a measuring event;

an inputting device, adapted to input into the measurement device a note with respect to the measuring event; and

a manipulating device, adapted to manipulate the note;

wherein the measurement device is adapted to obtain the note with respect to the measuring event and to link the note with the measuring event.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein the inputting device comprises a device removably or integrally connected with the measurement device.

3. The system of claim 1, wherein the inputting device is connected with the measurement device through an Internet or a Local Area Network (LAN).

4. The system of claim 1, wherein the inputting device comprises a computer, a keyboard, a camera, a camcorder, a microphone, a mouse, or a pen tablet.

5. The system of claim 1, wherein the inputting device comprises a built-in component of the measurement device.

6. The system of claim 1, wherein the note is in a visual or an audio format.

7. The system of claim 1, wherein the note is linked with the measuring event by a measuring timestamp of the measuring event.

8. The system of claim 1, wherein the note is linked with the measuring event through an event identification (ID) of the measuring event.

9. The system of claim 1, further comprising a data storage device physically or wirelessly connected with the measurement device, adapted to store the note.

10. The system of claim 1, wherein the measurement device comprises a health related measurement device.

11. The system of claim 1, wherein the note is encrypted.

12. The system of claim 1, wherein authentication is applied to access the note.

13. The system of claim 1, wherein the manipulating device comprises a computer.

14. A measurement device, comprising:

a note control component, adapted to obtain and record a note that is input with respect to a measuring event of the measurement device; and

a Central Processing Unit (CPU), adapted to link the note with the measuring event.

15. The device of claim 14, further comprising a note input component for inputting the note.

16. The device of claim 14, wherein the note is input from a note input device physically or wirelessly connected with the measurement device.

17. The device of claim 14, wherein the note is input from a computer, a keyboard, a camera, a camcorder, a microphone, a mouse, a pen tablet, a button, or a rotary switch.

18. The device of claim 14, wherein the note is in a visual or an audio format.

19. The device of claim 14, wherein the note is linked with the measuring event through a measuring timestamp of the measuring event.

20. The device of claim 14, wherein the note is linked with the measuring event through an event identification (ID) of the measuring event.

21. The device of claim 14, wherein the note is stored in a data storage device connected with the measurement device.

22. The device of claim 14, wherein the measurement device comprises a health related measurement device.

23. The device of claim 14, wherein the note is encrypted.

24. The device of claim 14, wherein authentication is applied to access the note.

25. A method of note taking in a measurement device, comprising the steps of:

obtaining and recording a note with respect to a measuring event of the measurement device from a note input device; and

linking the note with the measuring event.

26. The method of claim 25, further comprising the step of encrypting the note.

27. The method of claim 25, further comprising the step of storing the note.

28. The method of claim 25, further comprising the step of manipulating the note.

29. The method of claim 25, wherein the note input device is physically or wirelessly connected with the measurement device.

30. The method of claim 25, wherein the note input device comprises a computer, a keyboard, a camera, a camcorder, a microphone, a mouse, a pen tablet, a button, or a rotary switch.

31. The method of claim 25, wherein the note input device comprises a built-in component of the measurement device.

32. The method of claim 25, wherein the note is in a visual or an audio format.

33. The method of claim 25, wherein the note is linked with the measuring event through a measuring timestamp of the measuring event.

34. The method of claim 25, wherein the note is linked with the measuring event through a event identification (ID) of the measuring event.
