Abstract

The data acquisition unit acquires data in correspondence with each dimensional axis and the time axis. The mode setting unit makes setting and clearing of a dimensionality investigation mode. In the dimensionality investigation mode, the axis-determinative variation-rate calculation unit calculates axial data variation rates. The axis determination unit determines whether or not the axial data variation rate corresponding to each axis is low. The objective-axis setting unit sets each axis as an objective axis when the axial data variation rate corresponding to the axis is determined to be high. While the dimensionality investigation mode is cleared, the recording-determinative variation-rate calculation unit calculates axial data variation rates. The recording determination unit determines, on the basis of the axial data variation rate, whether to record the acquired data. The recording unit does not record the data when the data is determined not to be recorded.

Claims

1. A computer-readable recording medium storing a data recording program for recording data which varies with time in a space constituted by dimensional axes, the data recording program, when executed by a computer, causes the computer to function as:

a data acquisition unit which acquires data varying with displacement in the direction of each of the dimensional axes and time indicated by a time axis, in correspondence with the time axis and each of the dimensional axes;

a mode setting unit which sets said computer in a dimensionality investigation mode for determining, on the basis of magnitudes of variations of said data in axial directions, one or more objective axes to be one or more objects of investigation as to dimensionality, and clears setting of the dimensionality investigation mode;

an axis-determinative variation-rate calculation unit which calculates, on the basis of the data acquired by the data acquisition unit, an axial data variation rate indicating a rate of variation in the acquired data corresponding to displacement in a direction of each of the dimensional axes and the time axis, while the computer is in the dimensionality investigation mode;

an axis determination unit which determines, on the basis of the axial data variation rate calculated by the axis-determinative variation-rate calculation unit, whether or not the axial data variation rate corresponding to each of the dimensional axes and the time axis is low;

an objective-axis setting unit which sets one or more of the dimensional axes and the time axis as one or more objective axes when one or more axial data variation rates corresponding to the one or more of the dimensional axes and the time axis are determined by said axis determination unit to be high, and does not set the other of the dimensional axes and the time axis as one or more objective axes when one or more axial data variation rates corresponding to the other of the dimensional axes and the time axis are determined by the axis determination unit not to be high;

a recording-determinative variation-rate calculation unit which calculates, on the basis of the data acquired by the data acquisition unit, an axial data variation rate indicating a rate of variation in the acquired data corresponding to displacement in a direction of each of the one or more objective axes which are set by the objective-axis setting unit, while the computer is out of the dimensionality investigation mode;

a recording determination unit which determines, on the basis of the axial data variation rate calculated by the recording-determinative variation-rate calculation unit, whether to record said data; and

a recording unit which records in a data table the data when the recording determination unit determines to record the data, and does not record in the data table the data corresponding to the data when the recording determination unit determines not to record the data.

The computer-readable recording medium according to claim 1, wherein said axis-determinative variation-rate calculation unit obtains said axial data variation rate corresponding to each of said axes by calculating an average value per unit time of variation rates of said data in a direction of each of said axes, and

said recording-determinative variation-rate calculation unit obtains said axial data variation rate corresponding to each of said axes by calculating an average value per unit time of variation rates of said data in the direction of each of said axes.

3. The computer-readable recording medium according to claim 1, further realizing in said computer setting-information acquisition unit which acquires thresholds corresponding to the dimensional axes and the time axis for determining whether or not said axial data variation rate is low,

said axis determination unit compares the axial data variation rate corresponding to each of said dimensional axes and said time axis and being calculated by the axis-determinative variation-rate calculation unit with one of the thresholds corresponding to the axis and being acquired by said setting-information acquisition unit, and determines the axial data variation rate corresponding to the axis to be low in the case where the axial data variation rate corresponding to the axis is lower than one of the thresholds corresponding to the axis, and

said recording determination unit compares the one or more axial data variation rates corresponding to said one or more objective axes and being calculated by the recording-determinative variation-rate calculation unit with one or more of the thresholds corresponding to the one or more objective axes and being acquired by the setting-information acquisition unit, and determines not to record the data in the data table when one or more axial data variation rates corresponding to at least one of the one or more objective axes are lower than one or more corresponding thresholds.

4. The computer-readable recording medium according to claim 3, wherein said setting-information acquisition unit further acquires designated axis indicating one or more designated axes as one or more objects of a determination made by said axis determination unit,

the axis determination unit compares only the axial data variation rate corresponding to each of the one or more designated axes and being calculated by the axis-determinative variation-rate calculation unit with one of the thresholds corresponding to the axis and being acquired by said setting-information acquisition unit, and determines the axial data variation rate corresponding to the axis to be low in the case where the axial data variation rate corresponding to the axis is lower than the one of the thresholds corresponding to the axis, and

said recording determination unit compares one or more axial data variation rates corresponding to said one axes and being calculated by the recording-determinative variation-rate calculation unit with one or more of the thresholds corresponding to the one or more objective axes and being acquired by the setting-information acquisition unit, and determines not to record the data in the data table when one or more axial data variation rates corresponding to at least one of the one or more objective axes are lower than one or more corresponding thresholds.

The computer-readable recording medium according to claim 4, wherein said axis-determinative variation-rate calculation unit obtains the axial data variation rate corresponding to each of only the one or more designated axes by calculating an average value per unit time of variation rates of the data in the direction of said each of the dimensional axes and the time axis, and

said recording-determinative variation-rate calculation unit obtains only each of said one or more axial data variation rates corresponding to the one or more objective axes by calculating an average value per unit time of variation rates of the data in the direction of one of the one or more objective axes.

6. The computer-readable recording medium according to claim 1, further realizing in said computer setting-information acquisition unit which acquires thresholds corresponding to the dimensional axes and the time axis for determining whether or not said axial data variation rate is low,

said axis determination unit compares the axial data variation rate corresponding to each of said axes and being calculated by the axis-determinative variation-rate calculation unit with one of the thresholds corresponding to the axis and being acquired by said setting-information acquisition unit, and determines the axial data variation rate corresponding to the axis to be low in the case where the axial data variation rate corresponding to the axis is lower than the one of the thresholds corresponding to the axis, and

said recording determination unit compares the one or more axial data variation rates corresponding to said one or more objective axes and being calculated by the recording-determinative variation-rate calculation unit with one or more of the thresholds corresponding to the one or more objective axes and being acquired by the setting-information acquisition unit, and determines not to record the data in the data table when one or more axial data variation rates corresponding to all of the one or more objective axes are lower than one or more corresponding thresholds.

7. The computer-readable recording medium according to claim 6, wherein said setting-information acquisition unit further acquires designated axis indicating one or more designated axes as one or more objects of a determination made by said axis determination unit,

the axis determination unit compares only the axial data variation rate corresponding to each of the one or more designated axes and being calculated by the axis-determinative variation-rate calculation unit with one of the thresholds corresponding to the axis and being acquired by said setting-information acquisition unit, and determines the axial data variation rate corresponding to the axis to be low in the case where the axial data variation rate corresponding to the axis is lower than the one of the thresholds corresponding to the axis, and

said recording determination unit compares only the one or more axial data variation rates corresponding to only said one or more objective axes and being calculated by the recording-determinative variation-rate calculation unit with one or more of the thresholds corresponding to the one or more objective axes and being acquired by the setting-information acquisition unit, and determines not to record the data in the data table when one or more axial data variation rates corresponding to all of the one or more objective axes are lower than one or more corresponding thresholds.

The computer-readable recording medium according to claim 7, wherein said axis-determinative variation-rate calculation unit obtains only the axial data variation rate corresponding to each of only the one or more designated axes by calculating an average value per unit time of variation rates of the data in a direction of said each of the one or more designated axes, and

said recording-determinative variation-rate calculation unit obtains only each of said one or more axial data variation rates corresponding to the one or more objective axes by calculating an average value per unit time of variation rates of the data in a direction of one of the one or more designated axes.

9. The computer-readable recording medium according to claim 1, wherein said data acquisition unit sequentially acquires said data in correspondence with displacement along the time axis, and

said mode setting unit sets the computer to the dimensionality investigation mode so that a predetermined number of data sets beginning from a data set which is first acquired by the data acquisition unit are processed in the dimensionality investigation mode, and then the mode setting unit clears setting of the dimensionality investigation mode so that data sets following the predetermined number of data sets are processed out of the dimensionality investigation mode.

10. The computer-readable recording medium according to claim 1, wherein said data acquisition unit sequentially acquires said data in correspondence with displacement along the time axis, and

said mode setting unit sets the computer to the dimensionality investigation mode so that data sets which are acquired by the data acquisition unit during a predetermined time after the data is first acquired are processed in the dimensionality investigation mode, and then the mode setting unit clears setting of the dimensionality investigation mode so that data sets which are acquired by the data acquisition unit after the predetermined time after the data is first acquired are processed out of the dimensionality investigation mode.

11. The computer-readable recording medium according to claim 1, wherein said data acquisition unit sequentially acquires said data in correspondence with displacement along the time axis, and

said mode setting unit sets the computer to the dimensionality investigation mode so that a predetermined number of data sets beginning from a certain data set are processed in the dimensionality investigation mode, clears setting of the dimensionality investigation mode so that a second predetermined number of data sets following the predetermined number of data sets are processed out of the dimensionality investigation mode, and thereafter repeats setting and clearing of the dimensionality investigation mode for processing the data alternately in and out of the dimensionality investigation mode.

12. The computer-readable recording medium according to claim 1, wherein said data acquisition unit sequentially acquires said data in correspondence with displacement along the time axis, and

said mode setting unit sets the computer to the dimensionality investigation mode so that data sets which are acquired by the data acquisition unit during a first predetermined time after acquisition of a certain data set are processed in the dimensionality investigation mode, clears setting of the dimensionality investigation mode so that data which are acquired by the data acquisition unit during a second predetermined time after the elapse of the first predetermined time are processed out of the dimensionality investigation mode, and thereafter repeats setting and clearing of the dimensionality investigation mode so that the data are processed alternately in and out of the dimensionality investigation mode.

The computer-readable recording medium according to claim 1, wherein said axis-determinative variation-rate calculation unit obtains the axial data variation rate corresponding to each of the dimensional axes by calculating an average value per unit time of variation rates of the data in the direction of the dimensional axis,

said axis determination unit determines whether or not the axial data variation rate corresponding to each dimensional axis is low, on the basis of the axial data variation rate corresponding to the dimensional axis and being calculated by said axis-determinative variation-rate calculation unit,

said recording-determinative variation-rate calculation unit obtains the axial data variation rate corresponding to each of the dimensional axes by calculating an average value per unit time of variation rates of the data in the direction of the dimensional axis, and

said recording determination unit determines whether to record the data, on the basis of the axial data variation rate corresponding to the dimensional axis and being calculated by the recording-determinative variation-rate calculation unit.

14. A data recording apparatus for recording data which varies with time in a space constituted by dimensional axes, comprising:

a data acquisition unit which acquires data varying with displacement in the direction of each of the dimensional axes and time indicated by a time axis, in correspondence with the time axis and each of the dimensional axes;

a mode setting unit which sets said data recording apparatus in a dimensionality investigation mode for determining, on the basis of magnitudes of variations of said data in axial directions, one or more objective axes to be one or more objects of investigation as to dimensionality, and clears setting of the dimensionality investigation mode;

an axis-determinative variation-rate calculation unit which calculates, on the basis of the data acquired by the data acquisition unit, an axial data variation rate indicating a rate of variation in the acquired data corresponding to displacement in a direction of each of the dimensional axes and the time axis, while the data recording apparatus is in the dimensionality investigation mode;

an axis determination unit which determines, on the basis of the axial data variation rate calculated by the axis-determinative variation-rate calculation unit, whether or not the axial data variation rate corresponding to each of the dimensional axes and the time axis is low;

an objective-axis setting unit which sets one or more of the dimensional axes and the time axis as one or more objective axes when one or more axial data variation rates corresponding to the one or more of the dimensional axes and the time axis are determined by said axis determination unit to be high, and does not set the other of the dimensional axes and the time axis as one or more objective axes when one or more axial data variation rates corresponding to the other of the dimensional axes and the time axis are determined by the axis determination unit not to be high;

a recording-determinative variation-rate calculation unit which calculates, on the basis of the data acquired by the data acquisition unit, an axial data variation rate indicating a rate of variation in the acquired data corresponding to displacement in a direction of each of the one or more objective axes which are set by the objective-axis setting unit, while the data recording apparatus is out of the dimensionality investigation mode;

a recording determination unit which determines, on the basis of the axial data variation rate calculated by the recording-determinative variation-rate calculation unit, whether to record said data; and

a recording unit which records in a data table the data when the recording determination unit determines to record the data, and does not record in the data table the data when the recording determination unit determines not to record the data.

15. A data recording process for recording by a computer data which varies with time in a space constituted by dimensional axes, comprising the steps of:

acquiring, by a data acquisition unit, data varying with displacement in the direction of each of the dimensional axes and time indicated by a time axis, in correspondence with the time axis and each of the dimensional axes;

setting, by a mode setting unit, said computer in a dimensionality investigation mode for determining, on the basis of magnitudes of variations of said data in axial directions, one or more objective axes to be one or more objects of investigation as to dimensionality, and clearing, by the mode setting unit, setting of the dimensionality investigation mode;

calculating, by an axis-determinative variation-rate calculation unit, an axial data variation rate indicating a rate of variation in the acquired data corresponding to displacement in a direction of each of the dimensional axes and the time axis on the basis of the data acquired by the data acquisition unit, while the computer is in the dimensionality investigation mode;

determining, by an axis determination unit, whether or not the axial data variation rate corresponding to each of the dimensional axes and the time axis is low, on the basis of the axial data variation rate calculated by the axis-determinative variation-rate calculation unit;

setting, by an objective-axis setting unit, one or more of the dimensional axes and the time axis as one or more objective axes when one or more axial data variation rates corresponding to the one or more of the dimensional axes and the time axis are determined by said axis determination unit to be high, and not setting the other of the dimensional axes and the time axis as one or more objective axes when one or more axial data variation rates corresponding to the other of the dimensional axes and the time axis are determined by the axis determination unit not to be high;

calculating, by a recording-determinative variation-rate calculation unit, an axial data variation rate indicating a rate of variation in the acquired data corresponding to displacement in a direction of each of the one or more objective axes which are set by the objective-axis setting unit, on the basis of the data acquired by the data acquisition unit, while the computer is out of the dimensionality investigation mode;

determining, by a recording determination unit, whether to record said data, on the basis of the axial data variation rate calculated by the recording-determinative variation-rate calculation unit; and

recording in a data table, by a recording unit, the data when the recording determination unit determines to record the data, and not recording in the data table the data when the recording determination unit determines not to record the data.
