Abstract

An enterprise service bus client accesses a user'"'"'s biometric information, where the biometric information is accessed from a biometric input device coupled to the enterprise service bus client. Furthermore, the enterprise service bus client retrieves a certificate using the user'"'"'s biometric information. With the certificate, the enterprise service bus client establishes a connection with an enterprise service bus server and accesses an enterprise service bus service.

Claims

1. A computer-implemented method comprising:

accessing biometric information of a user with a client, the biometric information accessed from a biometric input device coupled to the client;

retrieving a certificate using the biometric information; and

establishing a connection with a server using the certificate.

2. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein the biometric information is one of fingerprint information, retinal information, facial characteristics, hand geometry, voice characteristics,and deoxyribonucleic acid information.

3. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein the server is enterprise service bus server.

4. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein the retrieving a certificate comprises:

querying a biometric database using the biometric information; and

receiving the certificate if the there is a match of the biometric information in the biometric database.

5. The computer-implement method of claim 4, wherein the biometric database is a certificate database that is part of the device accessing the biometric information.

6. The computer-implemented method of claim 4, wherein the biometric database is a certificate server coupled to the device accessing the biometric information.

7. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein the biometric input module is one of fingerprint scanner, facial recognition system, hand geometry recognition system, voice analyzer and DNA analyzer.

8. A computer readable storage medium having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by a processing system, cause the processing system to perform a method comprising:

accessing biometric information of a user, the biometric information accessed from a biometric input device coupled to the client;

retrieving a certificate using the biometric information; and

establishing a connection with a server using the certificate.

9. The computer readable storage medium of claim 8, wherein the biometric information is one of fingerprint information, retinal information, facial characteristics, hand geometry, voice characteristics,and deoxyribonucleic acid information.

10. The computer readable storage medium of claim 8, wherein the server is enterprise service bus server.

11. The computer readable storage medium of claim 8, wherein the method for retrieving a certificate comprises:

querying a biometric database using the biometric information; and

receiving the certificate if the there is a match of the biometric information in the biometric database.

12. The computer readable storage medium of claim 11, wherein the biometric database is certificate database that is part of the device accessing the biometric information.

13. The computer readable storage medium of claim 11, wherein the biometric database is a certificate server coupled to the device accessing the biometric information.

14. The computer readable storage medium of claim 13, wherein the biometric input module is one of fingerprint scanner, facial recognition system, hand geometry recognition system, voice analyzer, and DNA analyzer.

15. An enterprise system bus client comprising:

a biometric information accessing module to access biometric information of a user, the biometric information accessed from a biometric input device coupled to the client;

a certificate retrieving module, coupled to biometric information accessing module, to retrieve a certificate using the biometric information; and

a client connection module, coupled to biometric information accessing module, to establish a connection with a server using the certificate.

16. The enterprise system bus client of claim 15, wherein the biometric information is one of fingerprint information, retinal information, facial characteristics, hand geometry, voice characteristics,and deoxyribonucleic acid information.

17. The enterprise system bus client of claim 15, wherein the certificate retrieving module is further configured to query a biometric database using the biometric information, and to receive the certificate if the there is a match of the biometric information in the biometric database.

18. The enterprise system bus client of claim 17, wherein the biometric database is certificate database that is part of the device accessing the biometric information.

19. The enterprise system bus client of claim 17, wherein the biometric database is a certificate server coupled to the device accessing the biometric information.

20. The enterprise system bus client of claim 19 wherein the biometric input module is one of fingerprint scanner, facial recognition system, hand geometry recognition system, voice analyzer, and DNA analyzer.
