Abstract

A terminal for simply selecting one of menus in multitasking operation and displaying the selected menu as an entire image on a screen in consideration of user convenience, and its control method are disclosed. The terminal includes a display module; a user input unit configured to detect a touch input; and a controller configured to slide currently executed menus according to a pre-set method if the input touch continues by longer than a particular time, selecting one of executed screen image of the slid menu, and display it as an entirely magnified image.

Claims

1. A terminal comprising:

a display module;

a user input unit configured to detect a touch input; and

a controller configured to slide currently executed menus according to a pre-set method if the input touch continues by longer than a particular time, selecting one of executed screen image of the slid menu, and display it as an entirely magnified image.

2. The terminal of claim 1, wherein the controller slides the menus as executed screen images or in the form of icons.

3. The terminal of claim 1, wherein when a touch is input in a flicking manner, the controller slides the menus in the flicked direction.

4. The terminal of claim 1, wherein the controller divides and displays the executed screen image according to a pre-set method, according to a touch applied to an arbitrary position of a particular executed screen image displayed on the screen.

5. The terminal of claim 4, wherein after the screen is divided, the controller interchanges displayed on the divided regions of the image and displays them according to touch input method.

6. The terminal of claim 4, wherein after the screen is divided, the controller displays detailed information of information selected from one divided region of the screen to another divided region of the screen according to a touch input method.

7. The terminal of claim 4, wherein when a touch is applied to one of the divided regions of the screen according to a pre-set method, the controller magnifies the image of the divided region of the screen as an entire screen image.

8. The terminal of claim 1, further comprising:

a sensing unit configured to detect an impact, tilting or wobbling of the terminal to slide the menus.

9. The terminal of claim 1, wherein when the touch is released, the controller selects a menu slid at that moment, and displays an executed screen image of the selected menu as an entirely magnified screen image.

10. A control method of a terminal comprising:

detecting a touch input;

sliding currently executed menus according to a pre-set manner according to a way the touch is applied;

selecting one of slid menus; and

displaying the selected menu as an entirely magnified screen image.

11. The method of claim 10, wherein the touch input method includes a long-touch input that is applied by more than a pre-set particular time.

12. The method of claim 10, wherein, in sliding menus, the menus are slid as executed screen images or in the form of icons in a pre-set direction or at a pre-set speed.

13. The method of claim 12 wherein the executed screen images of the slid menus include a frame, an empty space between the executed screen images, or a discrimination line between the executed screen images.

14. The method of claim 10, further comprising:

dividing an executed screen image currently displayed on the screen according to a pre-set method according to the touch input method.

15. The method of claim 14, further comprising:

after the screen is divided, interchanging and displaying information displayed on the divided regions of the screen according to a touch input method,

displaying detailed information of information selected from one divided region of the screen, on the other region of the screen, or

displaying one of the selected images of the divided regions of the screen as an entirely magnified screen image.
