1. A method for identifying a result responsive to a current location of a client device, the method comprising:

  • establishing a connection between a host and a mobile device across a wireless network;

    exchanging, across the connection between the host and the mobile device, a travel route for the mobile device with a path between an originating point and a destination;

    exchanging, across the connection between the host and the mobile device, a search query that includes a point of interest and a location corresponding to a current location of the mobile device;

    relating the search query to the travel route using the current location;

    exchanging, at a first instant, a first search result that reflects a first entry and a second entry;

    exchanging, at a second instant, an update indicating that the mobile device is at a second location that is different than the first location;

    relating the search query to the travel route using the second location;

    exchanging, at the second instant, a second search result that reflects the first entry that remains persistent from the first search result and a third entry that is responsive to the second location; and

    enabling the second search result to be displayed.
