Abstract

A door mirror includes a turn signal lamp for indicating a traveling direction; a foot lamp; and a housing that houses the turn signal lamp and the foot lamp, wherein the turn signal lamp and the foot lamp are provided in the housing such that the turn signal lamp and the foot lamp are provided with outer lenses lying adjacent to each other such that light based on a turning on of one lamp is guided to an outer lens of the other lamp.

Claims

1. A door mirror for a vehicle, the door mirror comprising:

a turn signal lamp for indicating a traveling direction;

a foot lamp; and

a housing that houses the turn signal lamp and the foot lamp,

wherein the turn signal lamp and the foot lamp are provided in the housing such that the turn signal lamp and the foot lamp are provided with outer lenses lying adjacent to each other such that light based on a turning on of one lamp is guided to an outer lens of the other lamp.

2. The door mirror according to claim 1, wherein the turn signal lamp is located in front of and below the housing, and the foot lamp is located behind the turn signal lamp.

3. The door mirror according to claim 1, wherein a jointing piece made of a transparent material is formed at a lower end face of the housing and is in contact with and connects the outer lens of the turn signal lamp and the outer lens of the foot lamp.

4. The door mirror according to claim 1, wherein only a transparent material is placed between a portion of the outer lens of the turn signal lamp and the outer lens of the foot lamp at a lower part of the housing.

5. The door mirror according to claim 1, wherein the outer lens of the turn signal lamp and the outer lens of the foot lamp are formed successively as a continuous transparent member.

6. A door mirror for a vehicle, the door mirror comprising:

a turn signal lamp for indicating a traveling direction;

a foot lamp; and

a housing that houses the turn signal lamp and the foot lamp,

wherein the turn signal lamp and the foot lamp are provided in the housing such that only a transparent material is placed between a portion of a lens of the turn signal lamp and a lens of the foot lamp at a lower part of the housing such that light based on a turning on of one lamp is guided to the lens of the other lamp.

7. The door mirror according to claim 6, wherein the turn signal lamp is located in front of and below the housing, and the foot lamp is located behind the turn signal lamp.

8. The door mirror according to claim 6, wherein a jointing piece made of a transparent material is formed at a lower end face of the housing and is in contact with and connects the lens of the turn signal lamp and the lens of the foot lamp.

9. The door mirror according to claim 6, wherein the lens of the turn signal lamp and the lens of the foot lamp are formed successively as a continuous transparent member.
