Abstract

A power transmission device includes: a transmission means including at least an oscillation means and a resonant means and for transmitting power to a power reception device by using a magnetic resonance-type power transmission technique; and a control means for controlling the reception power of the power reception device so as to be at a maximum by changing at least one of an oscillation frequency of the oscillation means and a resonant frequency of the resonant means.

Claims

1. A power transmission device comprising:

a transmission means including at least an oscillation means and a resonant means and for transmitting power to a power reception device by using a magnetic resonance-type power transmission technique; and

a control means for controlling the reception power of the power reception device so as to be at a maximum by changing at least one of an oscillation frequency of the oscillation means and a resonant frequency of the resonant means.

The power transmission device according to claim 1, wherein, in a case where a change command for changing at least one of the oscillation frequency and the resonant frequency is generated and transmitted by the power reception device based on the reception power, the control means receives the change command and performs control for changing at least one of the oscillation frequency and the resonant frequency in accordance with the change command.

3. The power transmission device according to claim 2,

wherein the resonant means is configured to be able to change the resonant frequency,

wherein the change command is a command for changing the resonant frequency, and

wherein the control means changes the resonant frequency in accordance with the change command.

4. The power transmission device according to claim 3,

wherein the resonant means has a variable capacitance diode, and

wherein the control means changes the resonant frequency by changing a voltage applied to the variable capacitance diode.

5. The power transmission device according to claim 2,

wherein the oscillation means is configured to be able to change the oscillation frequency,

wherein the change command is a command for changing the oscillation frequency, and

wherein the control means changes the oscillation frequency in accordance with the change command.

6. A power transmission method comprising the step of:

controlling reception power of a power reception device so as to be at a maximum by changing at least one of an oscillation frequency of an oscillation means and a resonant frequency of a resonant means by using a power transmission device that includes at least the oscillation means and the resonant means and transmits power to the power reception device by using a magnetic resonance-type power transmission technique.

7. A power reception device comprising:

a power reception means for receiving power by using at least a reception-side resonant means in a case where the power is transmitted from a power transmission device that includes at least an oscillation means and a transmission-side resonant means and transmits the power by using a magnetic resonance-type power transmission technique; and

a control means for controlling reception power of the power reception device so as to be at a maximum by changing at least one of an oscillation frequency of the oscillation means, a transmission-side resonant frequency of the transmission-side resonant means, and a reception-side resonant frequency of the reception-side resonant means.

8. The power reception device according to claim 7,

wherein the reception-side resonant means is configured to be able to change the reception-side resonant frequency, and

wherein the control means measures the reception power and changes the reception-side resonant frequency based on a measured value of the reception power.

9. The power reception device according to claim 8,

wherein the reception-side resonant means has a variable capacitance diode, and

wherein the control means changes the reception-side resonant frequency by changing a voltage applied to the variable capacitance diode.

10. The power reception device according to claim 8,

wherein the transmission-side resonant means of the transmission device is configured to be able to change the transmission-side resonant frequency, and

wherein the control means performs control for generating a change command for changing the transmission-side resonant frequency based on the measured value of the reception power and transmitting the generated change command to the power transmission device.

11. The power reception device according to claim 7,

wherein the oscillation means of the power transmission device is configured to be able to change the oscillation frequency, and

wherein the control means performs control for generating a change command for changing the oscillation frequency based on the measured value of the reception power and transmitting the generated change command to the power transmission device.

12. A power reception method comprising the step of:

controlling reception power of a power reception device so as to be at a maximum by changing at least one of an oscillation frequency of an oscillation means, a transmission-side resonant frequency of a transmission-side resonant means, and a reception-side resonant frequency of a reception-side resonant means by using a power reception device that receives power by using at least the reception-side resonant means in a case where the power is transmitted from a power transmission device that includes at least the oscillation means and the transmission-side resonant means and transmits the power by using a magnetic resonance-type power transmission technique.

13. A power transmission system comprising:

a power transmission device that includes at least an oscillation means and a transmission-side resonant means and transmits power by using a magnetic resonance-type power transmission technique; and

a power reception device that receives the power transmitted from the power transmission device at least by using a reception-side resonant means;

wherein reception power of the power reception device is controlled to be at a maximum by changing at least one of an oscillation frequency of the oscillation means, a transmission-side resonant frequency of the transmission-side resonant means, and a reception-side resonant frequency of the reception-side resonant means.

14. A power transmission device comprising:

a power transmission means for transmitting power to a power reception device by using a magnetic resonance-type power transmission technique; and

a control means for controlling reception power of the power reception device by changing the transmission power of the power transmission means.

15. A power transmission method comprising the step of:

controlling reception power of a power reception device by changing transmission power of a power transmission device by using the power transmission device that transmits power to the power reception device by using a magnetic resonance-type power transmission technique.

16. A power reception device comprising:

a power reception means for receiving power in a case where the power is transmitted from a power transmission device that transmits the power by using a magnetic resonance-type power transmission technique; and

a control means for controlling the reception power of the power reception device by changing the transmission power of the transmission device.

17. A power reception method comprising the step of:

controlling reception power of a power reception device by changing transmission power of a power transmission device by using the power reception device that receives power in a case where the power is transmitted from the power transmission device that transmits the power by using a magnetic resonance-type power transmission technique.

18. A power transmission system comprising:

a power transmission device that transmits power by using a magnetic resonance-type power transmission technique; and

a power reception device that receives the power transmitted from the power transmission device,

wherein reception power of the power reception device is controlled by changing the transmission power of the power transmission device.

19. A power transmission device comprising:

a transmission unit that includes at least an oscillation section and a resonant section and transmits power to a power reception device by using a magnetic resonance-type power transmission technique; and

a control unit that controls the reception power of the power reception device so as to be at a maximum by changing at least one of an oscillation frequency of the oscillation section and a resonant frequency of the resonant section.

20. A power reception device comprising:

a power reception unit that receives power by using at least a reception-side resonant section in a case where the power is transmitted from a power transmission device that includes at least an oscillation section and a transmission-side resonant section and transmits the power by using a magnetic resonance-type power transmission technique; and

a control unit that controls reception power of the power reception device so as to be at a maximum by changing at least one of an oscillation frequency of the oscillation section, a transmission-side resonant frequency of the transmission-side resonant section, and a reception-side resonant frequency of the reception-side resonant section.

21. A power transmission system comprising:

a power transmission device that includes at least an oscillation section and a transmission-side resonant section and transmits power by using a magnetic resonance-type power transmission technique; and

a power reception device that receives the power transmitted from the power transmission device at least by using a reception-side resonant section;

wherein reception power of the power reception device is controlled to be at a maximum by changing at least one of an oscillation frequency of the oscillation section, a transmission-side resonant frequency of the transmission-side resonant section, and a reception-side resonant frequency of the reception-side resonant section.

22. A power transmission device comprising:

a transmission unit that transmits power to a power reception device by using a magnetic resonance-type power transmission technique; and

a control unit that controls reception power of the power reception device by changing the transmission power of the power transmission unit.

23. A power reception device comprising:

a power reception unit that receives power in a case where the power is transmitted from a power transmission device that transmits the power by using a magnetic resonance-type power transmission technique; and

a control unit that controls the reception power of the power reception device by changing the transmission power of the transmission device.
