15. An electronic device comprising:
-
a touch-sensitive display; a processor operably connected to the touch-sensitive display, wherein the processor executes a program to cause the electronic device to receive a character in response to a touch on the touch-sensitive display, add the character to a character string, identify, from stored data, objects that at least partially match the character string, determine a next character of at least one of the objects identified, and increase an active area on the touch-sensitive display for at least one next character.
