Abstract

A method and system that allows a user to perform automatic study, layout and verification of a multidimensional space in real time where the study can be displayed graphically, in 3-dimensions for example, via a handheld unit allowing the system to guide and/or navigate the user throughout the multidimensional space as the automatic study and/or layout is being performed.

Claims

1. A system comprising:

a master station assembly positioned within a multi-dimensional space to perform one or more of an automatic study, automatic layout or automatic verification of said multidimensional space.

2. A method of performing an automatic layout of a multidimensional space comprising the step of:

indicating, automatically, locations of benchmarks within the multidimensional space.

3. A method of performing an automatic study of a multi-dimensional space comprising the step of:

creating, automatically, a virtual space of the multi-dimensional space based one or more measurements made in the multi-dimensional space

4. A method of performing an automatic verification of a multi-dimensional space comprising the step of:

comparing, automatically, one or more benchmarks of the multi-dimensional space with corresponding virtual information representing the multi-dimensional space.

5. A method for providing Architectural Navigation services comprising the step of:

training and certifying one or more individuals to use a system that can perform automatic layout, automatic study or automatic verification in accordance with one or more specified processes.

6. A method for providing Autonomous Robotic Task Execution services comprising the step of:

training and certifying, by an entity, one or more individuals to use Autonomous Robotic Task Execution equipment where said entity is capable of designing, manufacturing and/or providing said equipment.
