Abstract

The method and device for analyzing position are disclosed. By analyzing sensing information with at least one zero-crossing, each position can be analyzed. The number of analyzed positions may be different from the number of zero-crossings. When the number of analyzed positions is different from the number of zero-crossing, the number of analyzed positions is more than one.

Claims

1. A method for analyzing positions, comprising:

obtaining a sensing information including at least one zero-crossing, wherein each zero-crossing is between a positive and a negative value; and

analyzing from the sensing information at least one position that is different in number to the at least one zero-crossing.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the number of the at least one zero-crossing is greater than the number of the at least one position.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the number of the at least one zero-crossings is odd.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the at least one position is analyzed based on zero-crossings at odd-number position.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the number of the at least one zero-crossings is even.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the number of the at least one zero-crossing is smaller than the number of the at least one position.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein the number of the at least one zero-crossing is one, and the number of the at least one position is two.

8. The method of claim 1, wherein the sensing information is a dual-differential sensing information, each value of the dual-differential sensing information being generated based on three sensors among the plurality of sensors.

9. The method of claim 1, wherein the sensing information is a differential sensing information, each value of the differential sensing information being generated based on a pair of sensors among the plurality of sensors.

10. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

analyzing from the sensing information at least one position that is the same in number to the at least one zero-crossing.

11. A device for analyzing positions, comprising a controller or a host for performing at least the following operations:

obtaining a sensing information including at least one zero-crossing, wherein each zero-crossing is between a positive and a negative value; and

analyzing from the sensing information at least one position that is different in number to the at least one zero-crossing.

12. The device of claim 11, wherein the number of the at least one zero-crossing is greater than the number of the at least one position.

13. The device of claim 11, wherein the number of the at least one zero-crossings is odd.

14. The device of claim 11, wherein the at least one position is analyzed based on zero-crossings at odd-number position.

15. The device of claim 11, wherein the number of the at least one zero-crossings is even.

16. The device of claim 11, wherein the number of the at least one zero-crossing is smaller than the number of the at least one position.

17. The device of claim 11, wherein the number of the at least one zero-crossing is one, and the number of the at least one position is two.

18. The device of claim 11, further comprising:

a sensing device including a plurality of sensors,

wherein the sensing information is a dual-differential sensing information, each value of the dual-differential sensing information being generated based on three sensors among the plurality of sensors.

19. The device of claim 11, further comprising:

a sensing device including a plurality of sensors,

wherein the sensing information is a differential sensing information, each value of the differential sensing information being generated based on a pair of sensors among the plurality of sensors.

20. The device of claim 11, wherein the controller or the host further includes performing the following operations:

analyzing from the sensing information at least one position that is the same in number to the at least one zero-crossing.

21. The device of claim 11, wherein each value of the sensing information is based on signals of three sensors separately, wherein the three sensors are adjacent or non-adjacent.
