The ornamental design of the Slant Board, as shown and described.The primary utility of the invention is to achieve the proper ergonomic environment as shown by research accomplished by Dr. Darrel Boyd Harmon and subsequent research by Drs. John Pierce and Steven Greenspan.Were said claim holds true for the previous statement the invention incorporates an angle from horizontal of between 20 and 23 degrees. By utilizing the invention in the proper fashion, sitting with feet flat on the floor and at a height such that the distance from the from the working surface to your eyes is the length from the elbow on the work surface to the first placed on the chin, creating the proper ergonomic environment for near point tasks such as reading and writing.Were said claim holds true for the previous statement the invention naturally induces the body to sit in a more upright posture which research has shown lowers the heart rate, lowers the blood pressure, brings about a more regular and deeper breathing pattern and reduces neck muscle and overall body tension.Were said claim holds for the ergonomic environment the inventions unique angle of between 20 and 23 degrees allows for the whole page of written text to be in focus at one time, improving tracking and reducing eye fatigue. Additionally the printed characters appear in the same perspective for the whole page allowing more cognitive resources to be utilized to understand the text and less interpreting the text.Where said claim holds for the unique angle of between 20 and 23 degrees the inventions reduces the strain on the wrist for both writing and typing by allowing the forearm muscles to be utilized when in this slopped position allowing for more control and less fatigue.The versatility of the invention in directly related to the multiple features incorporated into the invention.Where said claim holds true for the above statement the dry erase magnetic plate attached to the working surface allows for direct on board tasks. The paper catch at the top for the invention will hold your work firmly in place. The book catch at the bottom of the invention is attached to the work surface with Velcro allowing it to be removed and stored at the top right of the board to allow for an obstruction free writing surface. When the book catch is in place it will hold most books or and 17 inch laptop computer. All such features work in synergy to make the invention unique in its versatility.
