2. An alignment device comprising:
-
a housing comprising a mechanism that releasably engages a suction ring; a light source connected to multiple light emitters that are arranged in a pattern so that the light emitters apply light in said pattern of light to an eye of a patient; and a detector that detects light reflected from said eye and determines whether said suction ring is centered on said eye based on said detected light.
