1. A wireless computer network, comprising:

  • a wireless backbone network which includes at least one wireless network node device which operates as a master authentication node, and wireless network node devices which provide wireless local access service to mobile client computer devices in their coverage area and operate as proxy authentication nodes, and which forwards and delivers communication data of mobile client computer devices in multihop fashion, said wireless computer network being characterized in that;

    wireless network node devices which newly join as part of said wireless backbone network enabled to act as a supplicant to request authentication from said wireless backbone network prior to becoming part of said wireless backbone network;

    a wireless network node device which has received said authentication request is enabled to operate as a proxy authentication node to request authentication processing from a wireless network node device which operates as said master authentication node; and

    a new wireless network node device initiates wireless local access service to said client computer devices within its coverage area after joining said wireless backbone network using a key for joining said wireless backbone network provided after completion of authentication, and operates as a proxy authentication node for authentication requests from wireless network node devices newly joining said wireless backbone network.
