Abstract

Building members useful to easily produce massive or laminated wooden chalets and a method producing the same.

Claims

1. A technique for assembling massive parts, useful for the building of wooden chalets or houses wherein beams are built in two by two, three by three, or four by four, by dovetailing, and, optionally, by gluing them together, to thus obtain a massive laminated timber block which can be filled to form panels.

2. A technique for assembling of claim 1, wherein the gluing is achieved with a monocomponent polyurethane glue.

3. A technique for assembling of claim 1 and claim 2, wherein the beams are likely to slide due to the dovetailed assemblies.

4. A technique for assembling massive parts of claim 1 wherein a basis element made out of a wooden trapezoidal block fitted with a succession of female indentations arranged all along the element, wherein at least one male wooden element, showing symmetrical trapezoidal protuberance(s) on some part or all along the said wooden element, and which come to be fit together by interlocking into the said indentations, to produce dovetailed assemblies.

A technique for assembling of claim 1, wherein the wooden block may show on the other longitudinal side, symmetrically, trapezoidal male protuberances which fit together with another girder showing trapezoidal-shaped indentations, so that the main girder is assembled on its whole length with one or two additional elements.

6. An embodiment of the technique of claim 1, wherein the assembly is achieved with an assembly other than by dovetailing, by assembling by with shaped elements selected from the group consisting of greek-shaped-, polygonal-shaped-, or bean-shaped elements.

7. An assembling technique of claim 1, wherein the upper part of the male dove-tail is fluted.

8. An assembling technique of claim 1, wherein the assembled girders made of solid or filled panels held in place by using poles arranged at the ends.

9. A technique of claim 8, wherein stiffeners are vertically set in the panels through notches, arranged within the beams.

10. A technique of claim 8, wherein each panel is mounted on a double stringpiece fitted by means of a binding means.

11. A technique of claim 8, wherein each beam or girder has a section ranging from 40 to 55 mm and a height of about 200 mm.

12. A technique of claim 8, wherein a block with a double dove-tail is formed and which includes a hollow space in the middle, suitable for inserting cables or pipes.

13. A technique of claim 12, wherein the hollow space is stuffed with an insulating material to ensure the insulation or the tightness of the whole.

14. An assembling technique of claim 8 wherein several beams are assembled using a system of dove tails, having an external or upper face of the beam showing even segments.

20. A wooden chalet made of massive parts of claim 1.

21. A temporary or permanent building made of wooden chalets of claim 1.

22. A building selected from the group consisting of a shed, a garden shelter, a bungalow, a wooden cottage or/and a low wall constructed of elements of claim 1.

23. A building game using cube-shaped blocks of claim 1.

24. An assembly panel constructed of beams or girders assembled by dovetailing of claim 6.
