Abstract
Disclosed is a self-expanding medical implant for placement within a lumen of a patient. The implant comprises a woven or non-woven structure having a substantially tubular configuration, and is designed to be low-profile such that it is deliverable with a small diameter catheter. The implant has a high recoverability and desired mechanical properties.

a self-expanding tubular structure comprising at least one strand comprising a first biodegradable polymer; and a second biodegradable polymer conformally coating said strand, said second polymer being a thermoset copolymer; wherein said tubular structure comprises a first diameter greater than 2.5 mm, and said tubular structure recovers to at least 90% of said first diameter after being crimped to a diameter that is less than 50% of said first diameter. - View Dependent Claims (28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38)
