Abstract

In certain embodiments, processors may operate to establish trust with trust point systems by performing a user authentication, a platform authentication, and an environment authentication. The processors may communicate information with the trust point systems in response to establishing trust. In certain embodiments, the trust point systems may cooperate to provide a variety of services, such as escorting, battery charging, vehicle security, and/or emissions reporting services.

Claims

1. A system comprising:

one or more interfaces operable to communicate with a plurality of trust point systems; and

one or more processors operable to;

establish trust with the plurality of trust point systems by performing a user authentication, a platform authentication, and an environment authentication; and

communicate information with the plurality of trust point systems in response to establishing trust.

2. The apparatus of claim 1, the establishing trust comprising:

sending trust point information from a first trust point system to a second trust point system to allow the second trust point system to authenticate the first trust point system.

3. The apparatus of claim 1, the establishing trust comprising:

receiving trust point information from a trust point system; and

authenticate the trust point system using the trust point information.

4. The apparatus of claim 1, the processors further operable to perform an escorting process by:

receiving a task list comprising a plurality of tasks from a first trust point system; and

sending the task list to a second trust point system to obtain a route for the tasks and to instruct a vehicle to move along the route.

5. The apparatus of claim 1:

the trust point systems comprising a charging trust point system; and

the processors further operable to perform a battery charging process by;

sending battery information of a battery of a vehicle to the charging trust point system; and

sending payment information corresponding to the vehicle to the charging trust point system to allow the charging trust point system to charge the battery.

6. The apparatus of claim 1, the processors further operable to perform a vehicle security process by:

sensing a security trigger event associated with a vehicle;

recording a vehicle environment of the vehicle to yield a recording; and

sending the recording to a trust point system.

7. The apparatus of claim 1, the processors further operable to perform an emissions reporting process by:

gathering driving data of a vehicle; and

sending the driving data to a trust point system to allow the trust point system to calculate one or more emissions of the vehicle.

8. A method comprising:

establishing, by a vehicle trust point system of a vehicle, trust with a first trust point system;

receiving a task list comprising a plurality of tasks from the first trust point system;

establishing trust with a second trust point system;

obtaining a route for the plurality of tasks from the second trust point system; and

instructing the vehicle to move along the route.

9. The method of claim 8, the establishing trust with the first trust point system further comprising:

receiving user information obtained by the first trust point system from a user; and

authenticating the user according to the user information.

10. The method of claim 8, the establishing trust with the first trust point system further comprising:

receiving device information from the first trust point system; and

authenticating the first trust point system according to the device information.

11. The method of claim 8, the establishing trust with the second trust point system further comprising:

sending vehicle trust point information to the second trust point system to allow the second trust point system to authenticate the vehicle trust point system.

12. The method of claim 8, further comprising:

receiving second trust point information from the second trust point system;

authenticating the second trust point system according to the second trust point information; and

sending payment information to the second trust point system.

13. A method comprising:

authenticating, by a vehicle trust point system of a vehicle, a charging trust point system;

sending vehicle trust point information to allow the charging trust point system authenticate the vehicle trust point system;

sending battery information of a battery of the vehicle to the charging trust point system; and

sending payment information corresponding to the vehicle to the charging trust point system to allow the charging trust point system to charge the battery.

14. The method of claim 13, further comprising:

establishing trust with a mobile trust point system; and

receiving the payment information from the mobile trust point system.

15. The method of claim 13, further comprising:

sending vehicle trust point information to a mobile trust point system to allow the mobile trust point system to authenticate the vehicle trust point system.

16. The method of claim 13, further comprising:

sending a key to a mobile trust point system to allow the mobile trust point system to encrypt the payment information.

17. The method of claim 13, further comprising:

for displaying a charging status indicating a charge of the battery.

18. The method of claim 13, further comprising:

sending a charging status indicating a charge of the battery to a mobile trust point system to allow the mobile trust point system to display the charging status.

19. The method of claim 13, further comprising:

receiving a key from a trust point center; and

sending the key to a mobile trust point system to allow the mobile trust point system to encrypt the payment information.

20. A method comprising:

sensing, by a vehicle trust point system of a vehicle in a vehicle environment, a security trigger event;

recording the vehicle environment to yield a recording; and

sending the recording to a center trust point system to allow the center trust point system to send the recording to a mobile trust point system.

21. The method of claim 20, the sending the recording to the center trust point center further comprising:

sending the recording to allow the center trust point system to store the recording in a database.

22. A method comprising:

gathering, by a vehicle trust point system of a vehicle, driving data; and

sending the driving data to a center trust point system to allow the center trust point system to calculate one or more emission values of the vehicle.
