Abstract

An identification processing apparatus is provided for performing an identification procedure according to a smart card, including a storage unit for storing a first password; and an authentication unit for determining whether to perform the identification procedure according to a second password and the first password.

Claims

1. An identification processing apparatus, for use in a mobile device, for performing an identification procedure according to a smart card, comprising:

a non-volatile memory for storing a first password; and

an authentication unit, coupled to the non-volatile memory, for determining whether to perform the identification procedure according to the first password and a second password.

2. The identification processing apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein, the second password is inputted from a wireless reading apparatus wirelessly connected to the identification processing apparatus.

3. The identification processing apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the non-volatile memory further stores status information of the identification procedure for determining whether to perform the identification procedure.

4. The identification processing apparatus as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a wireless charging unit that wirelessly obtains power from outside the identification processing apparatus.

5. The identification processing apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein, the mobile device has an input interface, the wireless charging unit supplies power to the input interface and the second password is inputted from the input interface.

6. The identification processing apparatus as claimed in claim 4, wherein, the input interface is coupled to the identification processing apparatus via a general purpose input/output (GPIO) port.

7. The identification processing apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein, the authentication unit has an encryption unit, for encrypting the first password, and upon determining to perform the identification procedure, the encryption unit is used for decrypting the first password again.

8. The identification processing apparatus as claimed in claim 7, wherein, the encryption unit decrypts the first password by the advanced encryption standard (AES) or the triple data encryption standard (3DES).

9. The identification processing apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein, the identification processing apparatus is a near field communication device.

10. A mobile device, comprising:

a smart card; and

an identification processing apparatus, coupled to the smart card, for performing an identification procedure according to the smart card, the identification processing apparatus comprising;

a non-volatile memory for storing a first password; and

an authentication unit for determining whether to perform the identification procedure according to the first password and a second password, wherein the second password is received by the mobile device.

11. The mobile device as claimed in claim 10, wherein the first password is inputted from the input unit and stored in the non-volatile memory.

12. The mobile device as claimed in claim 10, further comprising an input unit and a wireless charging unit that supplies power to the input unit.

13. The mobile device as claimed in claim 10, wherein the authentication unit is used for encrypting the first password, and upon determining to perform the identification procedure, the authentication unit is used for decrypting the first password again.

14. The mobile device as claimed in claim 10, further including a control unit, used for generating a control signal, for controlling the closing of the identification processing apparatus.

15. The mobile device as claimed in claim 11, wherein the identification procedure is an electronic payment procedure.

16. The mobile device as claimed in claim 10, wherein, the identification processing apparatus is a near field communication device.

17. The mobile device as claimed in claim 10, wherein the non-volatile memory further stores status information of the identification procedure for determining whether to perform the identification procedure.

18. The mobile device as claimed in claim 10, wherein the second password is inputted from a wireless reading apparatus which is wirelessly connected to the mobile device.

19. The mobile device as claimed in claim 18, further comprising a wireless charging unit that wirelessly obtains power from the wireless reading apparatus.

20. The mobile device as claimed in claim 10, wherein the smart card is a subscriber identity module card.
