Abstract

The present invention relates to an assembly (101) comprising: an injection device (1) comprising a container (2) for a product, said container comprising a distal tip (3), an adaptor (5) comprising a ring (6) mounted onto said distal tip (3), characterized in that said assembly (101) further comprises a heat-shrinkable film (9) covering part (2a) of said container (2) and part (5a) of said adaptor (5), said film (9) maintaining said adaptor (5) blocked in rotation and in translation with respect to said container (2) when said film (9) is in its heat-shrunk condition. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing such an assembly.

Claims

1. Assembly (101) comprising

an injection device (1) comprising a container (2) for a product, said container comprising a distal tip (3) encompassing a channel (4) providing a passageway for the transfer of said product,

an adaptor (5) comprising a ring (6) mounted onto said distal tip (3),

characterized in that said assembly (101) further comprises a heat-shrinkable film (9) covering at least part (2a) of said container (2) and at least part (5a) of said adaptor (5), said heat-shrinkable film (9) maintaining said adaptor (5) blocked in rotation and in translation with respect to said container (2) when said heat-shrinkable film (9) is in its heat-shrunk condition.

2. Assembly (101) according to claim 1, characterized in that the ring (6) of the adaptor (5) is mounted onto said distal tip by friction.

Assembly (101) according to claim 1, characterized in that said heat-shrinkable film (9) is made of a thermoplastic material selected from the group consisting of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), oriented polystyrene (OPS), oriented polypropylene (OPP), polylactic acid (PLA) and mixtures thereof.

4. Assembly (101) according to claim 3, characterized in that said heat-shrinkable film (9) is made of polyvinyl chloride.

5. Assembly (101) according to claim 1, characterized in that said assembly (101) further comprises a label imprisoned between said heat-shrinkable film (9) and said container (2) and/or adaptor (5).

6. Assembly (101) according to claim 1, characterized in that said assembly (101) further comprises a label located on said heat-shrinkable film (9).

7. Assembly (101) according to claim 1, characterized in that said assembly (101) further comprises a plug (10) mounted on said adaptor (5).

8. Assembly (101) according to claim 7, characterized in that the heat-shrinkable film (9) also covers at least part of said plug (10).

9. Assembly (101) according to claim 8, characterized in that said heat-shrinkable film (9) is provided with an annular breakable line (11) located on the part of the heat-shrinkable film (9) that covers part of said plug (10).

10. Assembly (101) according to claim 1, characterized in that said heat-shrinkable film (9) is at least partially glued on at least one of said container or adaptor (5).

11. Assembly (101) according to claim 1, characterized in that said heat-shrinkable film (9) is provided with writing.

12. Method for manufacturing an assembly (101) according to claim 1 comprising the following steps:

a°

) an injection device (1) comprising a container (2) for a product, said container (2) comprising a distal tip (3) encompassing a channel (4) providing a passageway for the transfer of said product, and a suitable adaptor (5) are provided,

b°

) the suitable adaptor (5) is fitted on the distal tip (3) of said injection device (1),

c°

) a heat-shrinkable film (9), for example under the form of a rectangular sheet, is bonded on the assembly (101) so as to cover at least part of the adaptor (5) and at least part (2a) of said container (2),

d°

) the heat-shrinkable film (9) is heated until it shrinks and tightly covers said part (2a) of said container (2) and said part (5a) of said adaptor (5) so as to maintain said adaptor (5) blocked in rotation and in translation with respect to said container (2).

13. Method according to claim 12, wherein a plug (10) is further provided in step a°

) and mounted on the adaptor (5), and the heat-shrinkable film (9) is chosen in step c°

) so as to further cover at least part of said plug (10).

14. Method according to claim 13, wherein, before the bonding step of c°

), a breakable line (13) is designed on the part of the heat-shrinkable film (9) intended to cover part of said plug (10).
