Abstract

Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media for managing resources. A system for managing resources is configured for categorizing users according to at least one of common user characteristics and common user behaviors with respect to at least a first domain to yield a group of users. The system is also configured for identifying a resource associated with at least one user behavior in a second domain different from the first domain during a first time interval for at least one user from the group of users. The system is further configured for modifying an accessibility of the resource, during a second time interval after the first time interval, with respect to the second domain for at least other users in the group of users based on the at least one user behavior.

Claims

1. A method for managing resources, comprising:

categorizing users according to at least one of common user characteristics and common user behaviors with respect to at least a first domain to yield a group of users;

identifying a resource associated with at least one user behavior in a second domain different from the first domain during a first time interval for at least one user from the group of users;

during a second time interval after the first time interval, modifying an accessibility of the resource with respect to the second domain for at least other users in the group of users based on the at least one user behavior.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the resource comprises an online resource, and wherein the step of modifying further comprises allocating at least one of additional bandwidth, additional processing capability, and additional storage capacity with respect to the online resource.

The method of claim 1, wherein said resource comprises an online resource, and wherein the step of modifying further comprises generating a user interface configured for accessing the online resources at a user terminal for the at least other users in the group of users, and wherein a content of the user interface associated with the online resource is based on the at least one user behavior.

4. The method of claim 3, wherein the content comprises an adjustable interface element capable of providing access to the online resource, and wherein the step of generating further comprises pre-configuring the adjustable interface element for accessing the online resource.

The method of claim 3, wherein the content comprises a plurality of default elements, wherein at least one of the plurality of default elements is capable of providing access to the online resource, and wherein the step of generating further comprises rearranging the plurality of default elements based on the at least one user behavior.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the step of modifying further comprises:

based on the at least one user behavior, projecting a demand in the second domain for the resource with respect to the at least other users in the group of users; and

generating a communication for the one or more suppliers of the resources, the message comprising the projected demand.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein the step of identifying further comprises monitoring the least one user in the group of users, wherein the at least one user in the group of users is pre-selected.

8. A system for managing resources, the system comprising:

a processor;

a first module configured to control the processor to categorize users according to at least one of common user characteristics and common user behaviors with respect to at least a first domain to yield a group of users;

a second module configured to control the processor to identify a resource associated with at least one user behavior in a second domain different from the first domain during a first time interval for at least one user from the group of users;

a third module configured to control the processor to modify an accessibility of the resource with respect to the second domain during a second time interval after the first time interval for at least other users in the group of users based on the at least one user behavior.

The system of claim 8, wherein the resource comprises an online resource, and wherein the third module is further configured to control the processor to modify the accessibility by allocating at least one of additional bandwidth, additional processing capability, and additional storage capacity with respect to the online resource.

The system of claim 8, wherein said resource comprises an online resource, and wherein the third module is further configured to control the processor to modify the accessibility by generating a user interface configured for accessing the online resources at a user terminal for the at least other users in the group of users, and wherein a content of the user interface associated with the online resource is based on the at least one user behavior.

11. The system of claim 10, wherein the content comprises an adjustable interface element capable of providing access to the online resource, and wherein the generating further comprises pre-configuring the adjustable interface element for accessing the online resource.

The system of claim 10, wherein the content comprises a plurality of default elements, wherein at least one of the plurality of default elements is capable of providing access to the online resource, and wherein the generating further comprises rearranging the plurality of default elements based on the at least one user behavior.

13. The system of claim 8, wherein the third module is further configured to control the processor to modify the accessibility by:

based on the at least one user behavior, projecting a demand in the second domain for the resource with respect to the at least other users in the group of users; and

generating a communication for the one or more suppliers of the resources, the message comprising the projected demand.

14. The system of claim 8, wherein the wherein the second module is further configured during the identifying to control the processor to monitor the least one user in the group of users, wherein the at least one user in the group of users is pre-selected.

15. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions which, when executed by a computing device, cause the computing device to manage resources, the instructions comprising:

categorizing users according to at least one of common user characteristics and common user behaviors with respect to at least a first domain to yield a group of users;

identifying a resource associated with at least one user behavior in a second domain different from the first domain during a first time interval for at least one user from the group of users;

during a second time interval after the first time interval, modifying an accessibility of the resource with respect to the second domain for at least other users in the group of users based on the at least one user behavior.

The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 15, wherein the resource comprises an online resource, and wherein the modifying further comprises allocating at least one of additional bandwidth, additional processing capability, and additional storage capacity with respect to the online resource.

The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 15, wherein said resource comprises an online resource, and wherein the modifying further comprises generating a user interface configured for accessing the online resources at a user terminal for the at least other users in the group of users, and wherein a content of the user interface associated with the online resource is based on the at least one user behavior.

The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 17, wherein the content comprises an adjustable interface element capable of providing access to the online resource, and wherein the generating further comprises pre-configuring the adjustable interface element for accessing the online resource.

The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 17, wherein the content comprises a plurality of default elements, wherein at least one of the plurality of default elements is capable of providing access to the online resource, and wherein the generating further comprises rearranging the plurality of default elements based on the at least one user behavior.

20. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 17, wherein the modifying further comprises:

based on the at least one user behavior, projecting a demand in the second domain for the resource with respect to the at least other users in the group of users; and

generating a communication for the one or more suppliers of the resources, the message comprising the projected demand.
