Abstract

An online tool allows a user, such as an online merchant, to access a page of a service provider, select a format, customize funding sources and designs, and copy and paste the code to the merchant page to quickly and easily create a customized funding source graphic.

Claims

1. A system for facilitating information transactions over a network, the system comprising:

a first component adapted to communicate with a user via a first device over the network; and

a second component adapted to provide the first device with at least one type of format for a display to be used on a website, provide the first device with a plurality of selectable content for the display, receive selected ones of the content, provide the first device with selectable color options for the display, receive a selected color option, and provide the first device with code that the user can copy and paste to create the display on the website.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein the second component is further adapted to preview the display on the website through the first device.

3. The system of claim 2, wherein the preview comprises presenting the display on the website so that the user can move the display anywhere on the website.

4. The system of claim 2, wherein the preview comprises presenting a color palette so that the user can change a color of the display on the website.

5. The system of claim 2, wherein the second component is further adapted to receive a URL address of the website to preview the display.

6. The system of claim 1, wherein the content comprises funding sources.

7. The system of claim 1, wherein the content comprises logos.

8. The system of claim 1, wherein the format is dependent on the website.

9. The system of claim 1, wherein the content is dragged and dropped by the user into a box to select the content.

10. A method for creating an online display for a website, the method comprising:

presenting, by a processor of a service provider, at least one type of format for the display;

presenting, by the processor, a plurality of selectable content for the display;

receiving selected content from a user;

presenting to the user selectable color options for the display;

receiving a selected color option from the user; and

presenting the user with code that the user can copy and paste to create the display on the website.

11. The method of claim 10, further comprising receiving a selection of a type of format from the user.

12. The method of claim 10, further comprising presenting the user a preview of the display on the website.

13. The method of claim 12, wherein the preview comprises allowing the user to move the display anywhere on the website.

14. The method of claim 12, wherein the preview comprises presenting a color palette so that the user can change a color of the display on the website.

15. The method of claim 10, wherein the content comprises funding sources.

16. The method of claim 10, wherein the content comprises logos.

17. The method of claim 10, wherein the content is dragged and dropped by the user into a box to select the content.

18. The method of claim 10, further comprising determining the type of format based on the website.

19. A machine-readable medium comprising a plurality of machine-readable instructions which when executed by one or more processors of a server are adapted to cause the server to perform a method comprising:

presenting at least one type of format for the display;

presenting a plurality of selectable content for the display;

receiving selected content from a user;

presenting to the user selectable color options for the display;

receiving a selected color option from the user; and

presenting the user with code that the user can copy and paste to create the display on the website.

20. The machine-readable medium of claim 19, wherein the method further comprises further determining the type of format based on the website.
