Abstract

Method, system and computer program product for displaying additional information about a displayed point of interest. A region region within a particular frame of a display can be selected to access additional information about a point of interest associated with the region. The additional information can be displayed on a secondary display, in response to selecting the region within the particular frame of the display to access the additional information about the point of interested associated with the region.

Claims

1. A method for displaying additional information about a displayed point of interest, comprising:

selecting a region within a particular frame of a display to access additional information about a point of interest associated with said region; and

displaying said additional information on a secondary display, in response to selecting said region within said particular frame of said display to access said additional information about said point of interested associated with said region.

2. The method of claim 1 wherein selecting said region within said particular frame to access said additional information about said point of interest associated with said region, further comprises selecting said region within said particular frame utilizing a mobile device.

3. The method of claim 1 wherein selecting said region within said particular frame to access said additional information about said point of interest associated with said region, further comprises selecting said region within said particular frame utilizing a gyro-controlled pointing device.

4. The method of claim 1 wherein selecting said region within said particular frame to access said additional information about said point of interest associated with said region, further comprises selecting said region within said particular frame utilizing a laser pointer.

5. The method of claim 2 wherein said mobile device comprises a Smartphone.

6. The method of claim 2 wherein said mobile device comprises a pad computing device.

7. The method of claim 2 wherein said mobile device comprising a remote gaming device.

8. The method of claim 1 wherein said instructions are further configured for synchronizing said display with said secondary display through a network.

9. The method of claim 7 wherein said network comprises the Internet.

10. The method of claim 7 wherein said network comprises a wireless network.

11. A system for displaying additional information about a displayed point of interest, comprising:

a memory; and

a processor in communications with the memory, wherein the system is configured to perform a method, said method comprising;

selecting a region within a particular frame of a display to access additional information about a point of interest associated with said region; and

displaying said additional information on a secondary display, in response to selecting said region within said particular frame of said display to access said additional information about said point of interested associated with said region.

12. The system of claim 11 wherein selecting said region within said particular frame to access said additional information about said point of interest associated with said region, further comprises selecting said region within said particular frame utilizing a mobile device.

13. The system of claim 11 wherein selecting said region within said particular frame to access said additional information about said point of interest associated with said region, further comprises selecting said region within said particular frame utilizing a gyro-controlled pointing device.

14. The system of claim 11 wherein selecting said region within said particular frame to access said additional information about said point of interest associated with said region, further comprises selecting said region within said particular frame utilizing a laser pointer.

15. The method of claim 12 wherein said Mobile device comprises a Smartphone.

16. The method of claim 12 wherein said mobile device comprises a pad computing device.

17. The method of claim 12 wherein said mobile device comprising a remote gaming device.

18. The method of claim 11 further comprising synchronizing said display with said secondary display through a network.

19. A computer program product for displaying additional information about a displayed point of interest, said computer program product comprising:

a non-transitory storage medium readable by a processor and storing instructions for execution by the processor for performing a method comprising;

selecting a region within a particular frame of a display to access additional information about a point of interest associated with said region; and

displaying said additional information on a secondary display, in response to selecting said region within said particular frame of said display to access said additional information about said point of interested associated with said region.

20. The computer program product of claim 19 wherein selecting said region within said particular frame to access said additional information about said point of interest associated with said region, further comprises selecting said region within said particular frame utilizing a mobile device.
