Abstract

In a content supply system, in order to use a streaming server to perform a live distribution, a user PC used makes a reservation for a time zone, etc. to a server reservation control center. When the user PC sends desired reservation information to the server reservation control center via the Internet, if the reservation is accepted, a reservation ID only used for authentication of the reservation is created and sent from the server reservation control center to the user PC via the Internet. When a distribution request is sent from the user to the streaming server, authentication processing using this reservation ID is performed.

Claims

1. An information processing device comprising:

a communication interface that exchanges data with a first device and a second device; and

a processor that

receives content information including content identification information, an access control setting which indicates a restriction on sending the content information, and user identification information from the first device; and

controls the communication interface to send the content information and the user identification information to the second device such that if the access control setting is a predetermined level, the information processing device sends the content information and the user identification information to the second device corresponding to the user identification information received from first user device.

2. The information processing device of claim 1, wherein the content information includes access information to access the content related to the content information.

3. The information processing device of claim 1, wherein the processor performs authentication of the first device.

4. The information processing device of claim 2, wherein the processor streams the content related to the content information to the second device in response to a user selection of the second device.

5. The information processing device of claim 1, wherein the processor streams content received from the first device to the second device in real time.

6. The information processing device of claim 5, wherein the content information includes time information indicating a length of time that the first device sends the content.

7. The information processing device of claim 5, wherein the processor receives, from the first device via the communication interface, bandwidth setting information for sending the content.

8. The information processing device of claim 5, wherein the processor stores the content received from the first device in real time and sends the stored content to the second device after real time streaming.

9. The information processing device of claim 5, wherein the processor receives configuration information to add an effect to the content from the first device.

10. The information processing device of claim 6, wherein the processor determines a monetary charge to be applied to a user based on the time information.

11. An information processing device comprising:

a communication interface that exchange data with a server; and

a processer that

sets an access control level indicating a restriction on sending content information including content identification information; and

controls the communication interface to send the content information, the access control setting and user identification information to the server such that if the access control setting is a predetermined level, the server sends the content information and the user identification information to a second user device corresponding to the user identification information sent from the information processing device.

12. The information processing device of claim 11, wherein the processor controls the communication interface to send authentication information to the server.

13. The information processing device of claim 11, wherein the processor streams content in real time to the server to stream the content to the second device.

14. The information processing device of claim 13, wherein the content information includes time information indicating a length of time that the information processing device sends the content.

15. The information processing device of claim 13, wherein the processor controls the communication interface to send bandwidth setting information for sending the content.

16. The information processing device of claim 13, wherein the processor controls the communication interface to send configuration information to add an effect to the content.

17. The information processing device of claim 11, further comprising:

a main body portion having a keyboard;

a display portion having a display screen; and

a coupling portion that rotatably couples the main body portion and the display portion between a closed state and an open state or between the open state and the closed state, wherein

in the closed state, the display screen is exposed and the keyboard is not exposed,

in the open state, the information processing device is operable as a clam shell personal computer.

18. The information processing device of claim 17, wherein the camera is available in the open state and the closed state.

19. The information processing device of claim 18, wherein the display screen and the camera are same in orientation in both the open and the closed state.

20. The information processing device of claim 11, wherein the information processing device is a mobile phone.

21. An information processing method performed by an information processing device, the method comprising:

receiving, at a communication interface of the information processing device, content information including content identification information, an access control setting which indicates a restriction on sending the content information, and user identification information from another device; and

controlling, by a processor of the information processing apparatus, the communication interface to send the content information and the user identification information to the second device such that if the access control setting is a predetermined level, the content information and the user identification information are sent to the second device corresponding to the user identification information received from first user device.

22. The method of claim 21, wherein the content information includes access information to access the content related to the content information.

23. The method of claim 21, further comprising:

authenticating the first device.

24. The method of claim 22, further comprising:

streaming the content related to the content information to the second device in response to a user selection of the second device.

25. The method of claim 21, further comprising:

streaming content received from the first device to the second device in real time.

26. The method of claim 25, wherein the content information includes time information indicating a length of time that the first device sends the content.

27. The method of claim 25, further comprising:

receiving, from the first device, bandwidth setting information for sending the content.

28. The method of claim 25, further comprising:

storing the content received from the first device in real time; and

sending the stored content to the second device after real time streaming.

29. The method of claim 25, further comprising:

receiving, from the first device, configuration information to add an effect to the content.

30. The method of claim 26, further comprising:

determining a monetary charge to be applied to a user based on the time information.

31. A non-transitory computer-readable medium including computer program instructions, which when executed by an information processing device, cause the information processing device to perform a method comprising:

setting an access control level indicating a restriction on sending content information including content identification information; and

sending the content information, the access control setting and user identification information to the server such that if the access control setting is a predetermined level, the server sends the content information and the user identification information to a second user device corresponding to the user identification information.

32. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 31, the method further comprising:

sending authentication information to the server.

33. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 31, the method further comprising:

streaming content in real time to the server to stream the content to the second device.

34. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 33, wherein the content information includes time information indicating a length of time that the information processing device sends the content.

35. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 33, the method further comprising:

sending bandwidth setting information for sending the content.

36. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 33, the method further comprising:

sending configuration information to add an effect to the content.

37. An information processing system comprising:

a first information processing device that transmits content information including content identification information, an access control setting which indicates a restriction on sending the content information, and user identification information; and

a second information processing device that receives the content information, access control setting and user identification information transmitted from the first information processing device, and transmits the content information and the user identification information to a third information processing device based on the access control setting.
