Abstract

A data communication device includes: an antenna resonance circuit; a detection circuit; an arithmetic processing device; and a first switch. The antenna resonance circuit receives a signal in the ASK (Amplitude Shift Keying) format. The detection circuit demodulates a digital baseband signal based on the reception signal. The arithmetic processing device detects an appearance time of an edge in the demodulated digital baseband signal based on a preamble part of the reception signal. The first switch short-circuits both end of the antenna resonance circuit at first timing in synchronization with the appearance time of the edge.

Claims

1. A data communication device comprising:

an antenna resonance circuit configured to receive a signal in the ASK (Amplitude Shift Keying) format, wherein said signal includes;

a preamble part containing a modulation wave with a predetermined pattern, and

a data part containing a modulation wave with an arbitrary pattern;

a receiving circuit configured to demodulate a detection signal from said reception signal;

a timer configured to output an interruption signal every time when counting a first predetermined period of time;

an arithmetic processing device configured to be connected to said receiving circuit and to activate said timer based on a detection signal demodulated from said preamble part of said reception signal; and

a switch configured to short-circuit both end of said antenna resonance circuit during a second predetermined period of time based on said interruption signal, wherein said second predetermined period of time is different from said first predetermined period of time.

2. The data communication device according to claim 1, further comprising:

a storage portion configured to store data corresponding to said first predetermined period of time,

wherein said timer outputs said interruption signal based on a counted value and said data stored in said storage portion.

3. The data communication device according to claim 1, wherein a period of the detection signal is one unit of said modulation wave, wherein said modulation wave includes:

a first period containing an electric wave ASK-modulated in said one unit, and

a second period not containing an electric wave in said one unit;

wherein said first predetermined period of time is a half period of said one unit of said modulation wave.

4. The data communication device according to claim 3, wherein said arithmetic processing device activates said timer based on a first detection signal which is demodulated from said one unit of said modulation wave in said preamble part of said reception signal;

wherein said arithmetic processing device deactivate said timer based on a second detection signal which is demodulated from a signal not-containing said first period in said one unit of said modulation wave, said second detection signal being outputted from said receiving circuit after said first detection signal.

5. The data communication device according to claim 3, wherein said timer is a first timer,

wherein said interruption signal is a first interruption signal,

wherein said data communication device further comprising;

a second timer configured to start a counting operation based on said first interruption signal and to output a second interruption signal every time when counting a third predetermined period of time, wherein said third predetermined period of time is different from said first predetermined period of time,

wherein said arithmetic processing device executes level determination for said demodulated detection signal based on said second interruption signal.

6. The data communication device according to claim 5, wherein a time interval between an output time of said first interruption signal and an output time of said second interruption signal is shorter than a half period of said one unit of modulation wave.

7. The data communication device according to claim 4, further comprising:

a plurality of resistors configured to have resistance values different from each other; and

a resistor selection circuit configured to select a resistor from said plurality of resistors, wherein said selected resistor is parallel-connected to said antenna resonance circuit,

wherein said arithmetic processing device outputs a selection signal based on a third detection signal in which a time period of a high level state is longer than a half period of said one unit of modulation wave,

wherein said resistor selection circuit changes said selected resistor parallel-connected to said antenna resonance circuit from a resistor with a high resistance value to a resistor with a low resistance value based on said selection signal.

8. An air pressure monitoring system comprising:

a data communication device; and

a sensor initiator configured to transmit a signal in the ASK (Amplitude Shift Keying) format to said data communication device, wherein said signal includes;

a preamble part containing a modulation wave with a predetermined pattern, and

a data part containing a modulation wave with an arbitrary pattern,

wherein said data communication device includes;

an antenna resonance circuit configured to receive a signal in the ASK format,

a receiving circuit configured to demodulate a detection signal from said reception signal,

a timer configured to output an interruption signal every time when counting a first predetermined period of time,

an arithmetic processing device configured to be connected to said receiving circuit and to activate said timer based on a detection signal demodulated from said preamble part of said reception signal, and

a switch configured to short-circuit both end of said antenna resonance circuit during a second predetermined period of time based on said interruption signal, wherein said second predetermined period of time is different from said first predetermined period of time,

wherein detection of air pressure of a tire is started in response to a data based on the demodulated detection signal.
