Abstract

Methods for optimizing social media are disclosed. Such methods may include identifying at least one keyword utilized for at least one webpage, identifying social media correspondence referencing the at least one keyword, analyzing content collected from the social media to determine a frequency of references to the at least one keyword and generating at least one report including information based on the analysis. The report may include recommendations for optimizing social media by, for example, purchasing paid posts or links on a social media website. Systems for performing the methods are also disclosed.

Claims

1. A method for optimizing social media engagement, the method comprising:

identifying search engine optimization keywords utilized for at least one webpage;

analyzing at least one social media website to generate analytic data related to the search engine optimization keywords contained in correspondence displayed on the at least one social media website;

determining at least one web page performing well for the search engine optimization keywords; and

generating a recommendation for at least one type of social media correspondence including a link to the at least one web page.

The method of claim 1, wherein generating a recommendation for at least one type of social media correspondence including a link to the at least one web page comprises determining at least one item for display on the at least one social media website, the at least one item available for purchase from the at least one social media website.

3. The method of claim 1, further comprising providing at least one platform configured to enable a customer to purchase the at least one type of paid advertising from the at least one social media website.

4. The method of claim 3, wherein the at least one platform links the customer to a microblog to purchase a micropost for display thereon.

5. The method of claim 1, further comprising generating an electronic report comprising information for obtaining at least one type of paid advertising.

The method of claim 5, wherein generating an electronic report comprising information for obtaining at least one type of paid advertising comprises generating the electronic report comprising at least one button configured to enable purchase of a sponsored or promoted advertisement on the social media website.

7. The method of claim 5, wherein generating the electronic report comprising at least one button configured to enable purchase of a sponsored or promoted advertisement on the social media website comprises generating the electronic report comprising at least one button configured to link to a portal of the social media website configured to enable purchase of posts for display on the social media website.

8. The method of claim 1, wherein analyzing at least one social media website to generate analytic data related to the search engine optimization keywords contained in correspondence displayed on the at least one social media website comprises generating a ranking of the search engine optimization keywords at least one of highest return on investment, highest number of references to the search engine optimization keyword and a frequency that the search engine optimization keywords appear in the social media correspondence.

The method of claim 1, wherein analyzing at least one social media website to generate analytic data related to the search engine optimization keywords contained in correspondence displayed on the at least one social media website comprises determining at least one of a webpage being shared in social media and a webpage relevant for targeting consumers identified as interested in the search engine optimization keywords.

10. The method of claim 1, wherein identifying search engine optimization keywords utilized for at least one webpage comprises analyzing a company'"'"'s website to identify the search engine optimization keywords relevant to the company'"'"'s customers.

11. A method for optimizing social media, comprising:

collecting content from a plurality of webpages by crawling at least one network;

searching the content collected from the plurality of webpages to identify references to at least one keyword;

analyzing the content to determine a frequency of the references to the at least one keyword associated with at least one of the plurality of webpages, the relevant references generated by users of at least one social media website; and

determining at least one type of social media correspondence available for purchase from the at least one social media website based on the frequency of the references to the at least one keyword.

12. The method of claim 11, wherein collecting content from a plurality of webpages by crawling the at least one network comprises identifying at least one webpage comprising a desired number of references to a keyword.

13. The method of claim 11, wherein searching the content collected from the plurality of webpages comprises searching the content collected from the plurality of webpages accessed from a mobile device.

14. The method of claim 11, further comprising generating at least one report for display, the report comprising at least one recommendation for the social media correspondence available for purchase from the at least one social media website.

15. The method of claim 11, wherein generating at least one report for display comprises generating a report ranking social media participation of a user.

16. The method of claim 11, wherein collecting content from a plurality of webpages by crawling the at least one network comprises collecting content from a sample of webpages comprising a predetermined number of webpages.

17. The method of claim 11, wherein analyzing the content to determine a frequency of the references to the at least one keyword associated with at least one of the plurality of webpages comprises identifying at least one webpage containing a higher number of references to the keyword than the remaining webpages.

18. A system for optimizing social media, comprising:

a deep index engine configured to crawl a plurality of webpages and to identify social media correspondence located on the plurality of webpages;

an analyzing module configured to;

analyze the social media correspondence to identify references to at least one keyword in the social media correspondence; and

determine at least one type of social media correspondence available for purchase from at least one social media website based on the frequency of the references to the at least one keyword; and

a reporting module for generating at least one report for display to a user, the report comprising a link to a portal configured to enable the purchase of the at least one type of social media correspondence.

19. The system of claim 18, wherein the plurality of webpages comprises a sample of webpages comprising a predetermined number of webpages.

20. The method of claim 19, wherein the analyzing module utilizes one or more algorithms to analyze the social media correspondence to estimate a number of references to the at least one keyword.
