Abstract

A system and method of the present invention present a web based music station. The system includes a website having at least two engine components such as a table of a playlist and a table of a content references. A system includes a controller with an algorithm incorporated therein. The algorithm is configured to retrieve various images and music pre-stored in the controller and presents these images and the music to the users. The system tries to reconstruct the “logical priority chains” of user perception as it relates to both the music and the images. The system then clusterizes picks of the music and the images and the users. The system then binds both music and images together using non-linear mapping to determine preference of each user.

Claims

1. A system for determining personal preferences of users in various forms of art whereby the users access said system through personal communication devices, said system comprising;

a user interface component for receiving information from the personal communication devices;

a controller device for storing first and second test elements;

a central processing unit operably communicated with said controller device and said user interface component for receiving information from the users to determine correlation between said first and second test elements presented to the users through said user interface component, and

a software of said central processing unit configured to calculate various distances between locations a first user and a second user and each of a plurality of said first test elements and said second test elements presented to and selected by the first and second users respectively to determine consecutive orders of said first test elements and said second test elements relative to said locations of each of the first and second users thereby identifying preferences of the first user in one form of art and preferences of the second user in another form of art whereby said preferences of the first and second users are determined by said software based on difference between values of said consecutive orders by presenting at least one of said preferences of art of the first and second user to a third user as said software calculates various distances between a location of the third user and said plurality of said first test elements and said second test elements presented to and selected by the third user to determine a consecutive order of said first test elements and said second test elements relative to said location of the third user thereby identifying preference the third user in either forms of art of the first user and the second user as identified by said software as said software determines a match between said values of one of said consecutive orders of the first and second users and said value of said consecutive order of the third user.

2. A system as set forth in claim 1, wherein said first test elements are further defined by a plurality of various images including at least one of graphical illustrations, videos.

3. A system as set forth in claim 2, wherein said second test elements are further defined by a plurality of various sounds including at least one of songs, melodies.

4. A system as set forth in claim 3, wherein said software configured to map said locations of the first, second and third users and said first and second test elements.

5. A system as set forth in claim 1, wherein the communication device includes at least one of a desktop computer, a laptop computer, a mobile phone.

6. A system as set forth in claim 3, wherein said software further defines each of said consecutive orders by D1, D2, D3 . . . Dn and defines the users by U1, U2, U3 . . . Un and said first and second test element by P1, P2, P3 whereby said values each of said consecutive orders are defined by an equation of:

A system as set forth in claim 7, wherein a controller device for storing said first and second test elements is further defined by a first sub-controller for storing and circulating through said user interface component said first test elements and a second sub-controller for storing and circulating through said user interface component said second test elements.

10. A method to determining personal preferences of users in various forms of art based on personal preferences of the users, said method comprising the steps of;

providing a computer system to store first and second test elements to be presented to the users through a user interface component in order to allow the users to select at least one of the first and second test elements;

connecting a controller to the computer system to receive information from the users to determine correlation between the first and second test elements presented to the users through the user interface component;

incorporating a software in the controller to calculate various distances between locations a first user and a second user and each of a plurality of the first test elements and the second test elements presented to and selected by the first and second users respectively to determine consecutive orders of the first test elements and the second test elements relative to the locations of each of the first and second users thereby identifying preferences of the first user in one form of art and preferences of the second user in another form of art whereby the preferences of the first and second users are determined by the software based on difference between values of the consecutive orders; and

presenting at least one of the preferences of art of the first and second user to a third user as the software calculates various distances between a location of the third user and the plurality of the first test elements and the second test elements presented to and selected by the third user to determine a consecutive order of the first test elements and the second test elements relative to the location of the third user to identify preference of the third user in either forms of art of the first user and the second user as identified by the software as the software determines a match between the values of one of the consecutive orders of the first and second users and the value of the consecutive order of the third user.

A method as set forth in claim 10, wherein the step of storing the first and second test elements is further defined by storing a plurality of various images including at least one of graphical illustrations, videos and a plurality of various sounds including at least one of songs, melodies to be presented to the users through personal communication devices.

12. A method as set forth in claim 10, including the step of mapping the locations of the first, second and third users and the first and second test elements.

13. A method as set forth in claim 10, further defining each of each of the consecutive orders by D1, D2, D3 . . . Dn and further defining the users by U1, U2, U3 . . . Un and further defining the first and second test element by P1, P2, P3 whereby the values of each of the consecutive orders are defined by an equation of:
