Abstract

A portable hand-held device is provided having a network interface for sharing images between the device and a network, an image display for displaying the shared images, an orientation sensor for sensing an orientation of the device, and a processor for processing the displayed images based on the sensed device orientation and outputting the processed images to the image display.

Claims

1. A portable hand-held device comprising:

a network interface for sharing images between the device and a network;

an image display for displaying the shared images;

an orientation sensor for sensing an orientation of the device; and

a processor for processing the displayed images based on the sensed device orientation and outputting the processed images to the image display.

2. A device according to claim 1, wherein the image display is configured as a user interface.

3. A device according to claim 1, wherein the image display is a liquid crystal display.

4. A device according to claim 3, wherein the liquid crystal display is a thin film transistor display.

5. A device according to claim 1, wherein the image display has a four inch diagonal display area.

6. A device according to claim 1, further comprising an image sensor for sensing images, the processor outputting the sensed images to the image display.

7. A device according to claim 6, wherein the processor is configured to output the sensed images to the image display based on the sensed device orientation.
