Abstract

A cellular phone includes a first display, a second display, and a CPU. The cellular phone is configured to be switchable between a first state in which the first display, out of the first display and the second display, is exposed to the outside and a second state in which both of the displays are exposed to the outside. When an application is operated and shown on the first display in the first state, the CPU sets another application associated with the application in an operational state.

Claims

1. A mobile terminal device comprising:

a first display module;

a second display module;

a control module; and

a switch module which switches between a first state in which the first display module, out of the first display module and the second display module, is exposed to outside and a second state in which both the first display module and the second display module are exposed to outside, wherein

when a first application is operated and shown on the first display module in the first state, the control module sets a second application associated with the first application, in an operational state.

2. The mobile terminal device according to claim 1, wherein

in the first state, the control module brings the second display module into a nonoperational state.

3. The mobile terminal device according to claim 1, wherein

when a switch from the first state to the second state takes place, the control module shows an operation screen for the second application on the second display module.

4. The mobile terminal device according to claim 1, comprising:

a memory module that stores a table which associates the first application and the second application, wherein

when the first application is operated and shown on the first display module in the first state, the control module sets the second application associated with the first application in the table, in an operational state.

5. The mobile terminal device according to claim 4, comprising:

a table setting module which registers association between the first application and the second application in the table, based on a setting operation.

6. The mobile terminal device according to claim 1, wherein

when a switch to the first state takes place while an operation screen for a predetermined application is shown on the second display module in the second state, the control module sets the predetermined application shown on the second display module before the switch as the second application.

7. The mobile terminal device according to claim 1, wherein

when no input operation is performed with respect to the first application for a predetermined period of time in the first state, the control module stops the second application.

8. The mobile terminal device according to claim 7, wherein

when the input operation is resumed, the control module activates again the second application.

9. The mobile terminal device according to claim 1, wherein

when the first application stops in the first state, the control module shows an operation screen for the second application on the first display module.

10. The mobile terminal device according to claim 1, wherein

when there is an incoming call in the first state, the control module shows an operation screen for an application for a telephone function on the first display module and activates the second application associated with the application for the telephone function.

11. The mobile terminal device according to claim 10, wherein

when the application for the telephone function stops, the control module shows the operation screen for the first application activated before the incoming of the call on the first display module, and activates the second application operated before the incoming of the call.
