Abstract

A system and a method for receiving, by a processing device, a call from a communication device associated with a patient, the communication device associated with a patient having a unique identifier; associating, by the processing device, the unique identifier with a personal health profile stored in a database; determining, by the processing device, a communication device associated with a health care provider; transmitting the personal health profile to a communication device associated with a health care provider; and communicatively connecting the call from the communication device associated with the patient with the communication device associated with the health care provider.

Claims

1. A method comprising:

receiving, by a processing device, a call from a communication device associated with a patient, the communication device associated with a patient having a unique identifier;

associating, by the processing device, the unique identifier with a personal health profile stored in a database;

determining, by the processing device, a communication device associated with a health care provider;

transmitting the personal health profile to a communication device associated with a health care provider; and

communicatively connecting the call from the communication device associated with the patient with the communication device associated with the health care provider.

2. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

generating, by the processing device, an invoice based on a log of the call from the communication device associated with patient; and

transmitting the invoice to the communication device associated with the patient.

3. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

generating an on call schedule associated with the health care provider; and

determining the communication device associated with the health care provider based on the on call schedule.

4. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

recording a conversation between the patient and the health care provider during the communicatively connected call from the communication device associated with the patient with the communication device associated with the health care provider;

transcribing the recorded conversation between the patient and the health care provider;

storing the recorded conversation in the database;

storing a transcription of the recorded conversation in the database;

transmitting the recorded conversation to the patient; and

transmitting the transcription of the recorded conversation to the patient.

5. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

receiving, by the processing device, a message from the communication device associated with a health care provider, the message comprising medical information from the health care provider to the patient;

determining, by the processing device, that the message is in compliance with one or more US HIPAA laws; and

transmitting the message to the patient.

6. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

generating, by the processing device, an appointment reminder message, the appointment reminder message comprising information to remind the patient of an appointment with the health care provider; and

transmitting the appointment reminder message to the patient.

7. The method of claim 6, further comprising:

receiving a confirmation message from the patient in response to the transmitted appointment reminder message.

8. A system comprising:

a database; and

a processing device communicatively coupled to the database, the processing device configured to;

receive a call from a communication device associated with a patient, the communication device associated with a patient having a unique identifier;

associate the unique identifier with a personal health profile stored in a database;

determine a communication device associated with a health care provider transmit the personal health profile to a communication device associated with a health care provider; and

communicatively connect the call from the communication device associated with the patient with the communication device associated with the health care provider.

9. The system of claim 8, wherein the processing device is further configured to:

generate an invoice based on a log of the call from the communication device associated with patient; and

transmit the invoice to the communication device associated with the patient.

10. The system of claim 8, wherein the processing device is further configured to:

generate an on call schedule associated with the health care provider; and

determine the communication device associated with the health care provider based on the on call schedule.

11. The system of claim 8, wherein the processing device is further configured to:

record a conversation between the patient and the health care provider during the communicatively connected call from the communication device associated with the patient with the communication device associated with the health care provider;

transcribe the recorded conversation between the patient and the health care provider;

store the recorded conversation in the database;

store a transcription of the recorded conversation in the database;

transmit the recorded conversation to the patient; and

transmit the transcription of the recorded conversation to the patient.

12. The system of claim 8, wherein the processing device is further configured to:

receive a message from the communication device associated with a health care provider, the message comprising medical information from the health care provider to the patient;

determine that the message is in compliance with one or more US HIPAA laws; and

transmit the message to the patient.

13. The system of claim 8, wherein the processing device is further configured to:

generate an appointment reminder message, the appointment reminder message comprising information to remind the patient of an appointment with the health care provider; and

transmit the appointment reminder message to the patient.

14. The system of claim 13, wherein the processing device is further configured to:

receive a confirmation message from the patient in response to the transmitted appointment reminder message.

15. A non-transitory computer readable storage medium including instructions that, when executed by a processing device, cause the processing device to perform a method comprising:

receiving, by a processing device, a call from a communication device associated with a patient, the communication device associated with a patient having a unique identifier;

associating, by the processing device, the unique identifier with a personal health profile stored in a database;

determining, by the processing device, a communication device associated with a health care provider;

transmitting the personal health profile to a communication device associated with a health care provider; and

communicatively connecting the call from the communication device associated with the patient with the communication device associated with the health care provider.

16. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 15, further comprising:

generating, by the processing device, an invoice based on a log of the call from the communication device associated with patient; and

transmitting the invoice to the communication device associated with the patient.

17. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 15, further comprising:

generating an on call schedule associated with the health care provider; and

determining the communication device associated with the health care provider based on the on call schedule.

18. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 15, further comprising:

recording a conversation between the patient and the health care provider during the communicatively connected call from the communication device associated with the patient with the communication device associated with the health care provider;

transcribing the recorded conversation between the patient and the health care provider;

storing the recorded conversation in the database;

storing a transcription of the recorded conversation in the database;

transmitting the recorded conversation to the patient; and

transmitting the transcription of the recorded conversation to the patient.

19. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 15, further comprising:

receiving, by the processing device, a message from the communication device associated with a health care provider, the message comprising medical information from the health care provider to the patient;

determining, by the processing device, that the message is in compliance with one or more US HIPAA laws; and

transmitting the message to the patient.

20. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 15, further comprising:

generating, by the processing device, an appointment reminder message, the appointment reminder message comprising information to remind the patient of an appointment with the health care provider; and

transmitting the appointment reminder message to the patient.
