Abstract

According to an aspect, a device includes a touch screen display and a controller. The touch screen display displays a lock screen including a first icon and a second icon. The controller displays a sub icon associated with the second icon on the lock screen when a gesture in which the first icon and the second icon are superimposed is detected.

Claims

1. A device comprising:

a touch screen display for displaying a lock screen including a first icon and a second icon; and

a controller for displaying a sub icon associated with the second icon on the lock screen when a gesture in which the first icon and the second icon are superimposed is detected.

2. The device according to claim 1, wherein

the controller is configured to display the sub icon on the lock screen when the second icon is tapped.

3. The device according to claim 1, wherein

the second icon is associated with an application, and

the controller is configured to execute the application associated with the second icon when the gesture is ended in a state where the first icon and the second icon are superimposed.

4. The device according to claim 3, wherein

the sub icon is associated with particular processing that is executable in the application, and

the controller is configured to execute the particular processing associated with the sub icon when the gesture is ended in a state where the first icon and the sub icon are superimposed.

5. A method for controlling a device having a touch screen display, the method comprising:

displaying a lock screen, including a first icon and a second icon, on the touch screen display; and

displaying a sub icon associated with the second icon when a gesture in which the first icon and the second icon are superimposed is detected.

6. The method according to claim 5, further comprising

displaying the sub icon on the lock screen when the second icon is tapped.

7. The method according to claim 5, wherein

the second icon is associated with an application, and

the method further comprises executing the application associated with the second icon when the gesture is ended in a state where the first icon and the second icon are superimposed.

8. The method according to claim 7, wherein

the sub icon is associated with particular processing that is executable in the application, and

the method further comprises executing the particular processing associated with the sub icon when the gesture is ended in a state where the first icon and the sub icon are superimposed.

9. A non-transitory storage medium storing therein a program for causing, when executed by a device having a touch screen display, the device to execute:

displaying a lock screen, including a first icon and a second icon, on the touch screen display; and

displaying a sub icon associated with the second icon when a gesture in which the first icon and the second icon are superimposed is detected.
