1. A periscope comprising:
- a cylindrical body comprising a proximal portion and a distal portion;
wherein the cylindrical body is tapered along at least a portion of the cylindrical body;
a first fiber optic cable disposed within the cylindrical body and extending from the proximal portion of the cylindrical body to the distal portion of the cylindrical body;
a lens stack in communication with the cylindrical body; and
a second fiber optic cable in communication with the lens stack, wherein the second fiber optic cable is disposed within the cylindrical body and extends to the distal portion of the cylindrical body.
