Abstract
Navigating on a display includes tracking motion of an input tool on a display, comparing a motion of the input tool to a threshold, and changing a position of the visible portion of a page of information on the display if the input tool motion exceeds the threshold. The position of the visible portion of the page of information on the display is constrained if the motion does not exceed the threshold.

receiving data representative of content to be displayed on a touchscreen display, wherein the content comprises a plurality of portions; displaying, on the touchscreen display, a first portion of the plurality of portions; detecting, using at least one processor, a motion of an object on or near the touchscreen display; determining whether the detected motion has met a predetermined threshold; and in response to a determination that the detected motion has met the predetermined threshold, repositioning a viewable portion of the content to a second portion of the plurality of portions of the content. - View Dependent Claims (14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25)
