Abstract

A system and a method for generating an emotional profile of the user and deriving inference from the analytics of generated emotional profile is provided. The method involves sharing media content or online event in a connected environment; capturing user'"'"'s reaction to the said content or event; generating an emotional score of the user to rate the media content or event; and sharing the emotional score within the connected environment.

Claims

1. A system for tagging a multimedia content in a granular manner comprising:

a network of client devices connected with each other in a connected environment;

a repository to share the multimedia content with the network of client devices;

a module to capture the individual cues;

a score generator for generating an individual cue score with function of time and tagging the content by associating the cue score with the content.

2. The system of claim 1 wherein the client device can be a mobile phone, a Smartphone, a laptop, a camera with WiFi connectivity, a desktop, a tablet computer, or any other sensory device with connectivity.

3. The system of claim 1 wherein the module capture the individual cues in form of critical auditory, visual or any other sensory input of the user.

4. The system of claim 1 wherein the individual cue score corresponds to the emotion, behavior, response, attention span, gestures, hand and head movement or other reactions and stimuli of the user.

5. The system of claim 1 wherein the score generator generates the individual cue score as a function of time.

6. The system of claim 1 wherein the individual cues score is used to tag the content.

7. A method for tagging a multimedia content in a granular manner comprising:

distributing or sharing the multimedia content to users in a network of client device;

recording and interpreting the reaction of the user on viewing the content by the client device;

generating a user'"'"'s individual cue score as a function of time;

tagging the said content by associating the said individual cue score with the content.

8. The method of claim 7 wherein the multimedia content includes video or audio content.

9. The method of claim 7 wherein the client device can be a mobile phone, a Smartphone, a laptop, a camera with WiFi connectivity, a desktop, a tablet computer, or any other sensory device with connectivity.

10. The method of claim 7 wherein the multimedia content is distributed through a central repository.

11. The method of claim 7 wherein the user'"'"'s reactions are recorded in form of critical auditory, visual or any other sensory input.

12. The method of claim 7 wherein the individual cue scores designates emotions, behavior, response, attention span, gestures, hand and head movement, or other reactions or stimuli of the user.

13. The method of claim 7 wherein the individual cues score is tagged to the content as a function of time.

14. The method of claim 7 wherein the multimedia content is tagged with individual cues score in granular manner.

15. A method for granular individual cues tagging of a multimedia content comprising:

capturing a user'"'"'s instantaneous reaction to the content by individual cues detection module;

generating an individual cue score as a function of time;

tagging the content with an instantaneous individual cues score based on the user'"'"'s reaction and at the specific time stamp of the content;

characterizing the content in a granular manner;

sharing the granular tagging characteristics of the content in the network.

16. The method of claim 15 wherein the content are tagged granularly with respect to time.

17. The method of claim 15 wherein the individual cues score corresponds to emotions, behavior, response, attention span, gestures, hand and head movement, or other reactions or stimuli of the user.

18. The method of claim 15 wherein the individual cues score is generated with respect to time.

19. The method of claim 15 wherein the content is tagged with the instantaneous individual cue score and time stamp of the content.

20. The method of claim 15 wherein the tagged content instantaneous individual cues are stored in a repository and are shared in the connected network and with other users.
