1. A pressure measuring cell for the detection of the pressure prevailing in an adjoining medium, comprising:

  • an elastic membrane on which a first electromechanical transducer with a plurality of first measuring elements is arranged, which supplies a first pressure-dependent output signal; and

a second electromechanical transducer with a plurality of second measuring elements which supplies a second pressure-dependent output signal, wherein in a case of an elastically reversible deformation of the membrane, the two transducers are arranged such that the output signals have a first pressure characteristic, and after an irreversible deformation of the membrane due to an increased pressure load, the same have a significantly different pressure characteristic, and that the plurality of first and second measuring element of at least one transducer are arranged on a first mid-line of the membrane.
