Abstract

Secure storage of important/relevant information on a device and/or internet cloud is facilitated, and enables automatic transmission of that important/relevant information when certain user-defined criteria are met, e.g., when 911 is dialed on a corresponding subscriber device. A baseline data collection and maintenance interface enables a subscriber to provision important/relevant information (e.g. medical/emergency information) authorized for transmittal, intended recipients of data (e.g. emergency personnel), and one or more information exchange events (e.g., dialing 911 on a corresponding subscriber device), in to a subscriber information database. A trigger monitoring server monitors a subscriber device for the occurrence of one or more information exchange events defined in an affiliated subscriber information database. The trigger monitoring server accesses a relevant subscriber information database to dynamically facilitate stored subscriber information to one or more predetermined data recipients, each instance an information exchange event is detected on a corresponding subscriber device.

Claims

1. A baseline data collection interface to enable storage of subscriber information for dynamic transmittal upon initiation of an information exchange event, comprising:

subscriber information comprising a first set of data authorized for transmittal to a first set of destinations, and a second set of data authorized for transmittal to a second set of destinations;

wherein said first set of data authorized for transmittal—

but not said second set of data pre-authorized for transmittal—

is dynamically transmitted to only an authorized destination device, upon an occurrence of a first information exchange event.

2. The baseline data collection interface to enable storage of subscriber information for dynamic transmittal upon initiation of an information exchange event according to claim 1, wherein:

said subscriber information is stored on a smartphone.

3. The baseline data collection interface to enable storage of subscriber information for dynamic transmittal upon initiation of an information exchange event according to claim 1, wherein:

said first set of data authorized for transmittal—

but not said second set of data pre-authorized for transmittal—

is dynamically transmitted to said authorized destination device based on a geolocation of said destination device.

4. The baseline data collection interface to enable storage of subscriber information for dynamic transmittal upon initiation of an information exchange event according to claim 2, wherein said subscriber information comprises:

emergency-related information associated with a user of said smart phone.

5. The baseline data collection interface to enable storage of subscriber information for dynamic transmittal upon initiation of an information exchange event according to claim 1, wherein said authorized destination device comprises:

an emergency services device.

6. The baseline data collection interface to enable storage of subscriber information for dynamic transmittal upon initiation of an information exchange event according to claim 2, wherein said first information exchange event comprises:

activation of a help key on said smartphone.

7. The baseline data collection interface to enable storage of subscriber information for dynamic transmittal upon initiation of an information exchange event according to claim 2, wherein said first information exchange event comprises:

pressing a predetermined sequence of keys on said smartphone.

8. The baseline data collection interface to enable storage of subscriber information for dynamic transmittal upon initiation of an information exchange event according to claim 1, wherein:

said subscriber information database is stored at an Internet based cloud location.

14. A server to dynamically facilitate authorized transmittal of pre-stored subscriber information to one or more desired recipients when a subscriber pre-defined information exchange event is triggered on a corresponding subscriber device, comprising:

a monitoring module to detect occurrence on said subscriber device of said information exchange event;

accessing pre-authorized subscriber information from a subscriber information database based on a type of said information exchange event; and

transmitting said accessed pre-authorized subscriber information to only a pre-defined destination type.

15. A server to dynamically facilitate authorized transmittal of pre-stored subscriber information to one or more desired recipients when a subscriber pre-defined information exchange event is triggered on a corresponding subscriber device according to claim 14, wherein:

said subscriber information database is an emergency information database.

16. A server to dynamically facilitate authorized transmittal of pre-stored subscriber information to one or more desired recipients when a subscriber pre-defined information exchange event is triggered on a corresponding subscriber device according to claim 14, wherein:

said pre-defined destination type is an emergency services device.

17. A server to dynamically facilitate authorized transmittal of pre-stored subscriber information to one or more desired recipients when a subscriber pre-defined information exchange event is triggered on a corresponding subscriber device according to claim 14, wherein:

said pre-defined destination type is a destination identified within an address book associated with said subscriber device.

18. A server to dynamically facilitate authorized transmittal of pre-stored subscriber information to one or more desired recipients when a subscriber pre-defined information exchange event is triggered on a corresponding subscriber device according to claim 17, wherein:

said address book is stored on said subscriber device.

19. A server to dynamically facilitate authorized transmittal of pre-stored subscriber information to one or more desired recipients when a subscriber pre-defined information exchange event is triggered on a corresponding subscriber device according to claim 14, wherein:

said accessed pre-authorized subscriber information is transmitted via email to said pre-defined destination type.

20. A server to dynamically facilitate authorized transmittal of pre-stored subscriber information to one or more desired recipients when a subscriber pre-defined information exchange event is triggered on a corresponding subscriber device according to claim 14, wherein:

said accessed pre-authorized subscriber information is transmitted via text message to said pre-defined destination type.

21. A method of dynamically transmitting stored subscriber information associated with users of a given subscriber device to at least one intended recipient when an information exchange event is triggered on said given subscriber device, comprising:

storing subscriber information received from a subscriber device in a subscriber information database;

associating a pre-designated recipient of said subscriber information with at least one authorized destination;

monitoring said subscriber device to detect an occurrence of an information exchange event on said subscriber device; and

transmitting said subscriber information to only said authorized at least one intended recipient when said information exchange event is detected on said subscriber device.
