Abstract

A mobile terminal and a method of controlling the same are provided. When a touch input of starting from a predefined area on a touch screen is received, the mobile terminal scrolls at least one page including at least one item while sequentially exposing on the touch screen, but scrolls by giving a three-dimensional effect to each page. Accordingly, accessibility and utility of an item providing in the mobile terminal can be improved.

Claims

1. A mobile terminal comprising:

a touch screen; and

a controller configured to display a page comprising at least one item on the touch screen and to control a display of a scrolled page when a scroll input of starting from a predefined area of the page on the touch screen is received,

wherein the controller is configured to change and display a slope of the scrolled page and a depth level of an inclined side surface of the page according to a scrolled distance.

2. The mobile terminal of claim 1, wherein the scrolled page comprises a plurality of pages, and

the plurality of pages are scrolled while being sequentially exposed on the touch screen, and each page increases the slope and the depth level as being receded from a location at which the scroll input is started.

3. The mobile terminal of claim 2, wherein at least a part of areas of each of the plurality of pages are scrolled while being overlapped in an overlapped state.

4. The mobile terminal of claim 2, wherein the scroll input comprises a drag input, and

the number of scrolled pages is determined according to a dragged distance.

5. The mobile terminal of claim 2, wherein the scrolled plurality of pages are pages related to an attribute of a page displayed on the touch screen.

6. The mobile terminal of claim 5, wherein the predefined area comprises an area in which an indicator for identifying the attribute of the page displayed on the touch screen is displayed.

7. The mobile terminal of claim 5, wherein the attribute of the page is determined according to an attribute of at least one item grouped to the page, and

the controller is configured to display a group identifier for identifying the attribute of the at least one item at an upper end area of the page.

8. The mobile terminal of claim 5, wherein the controller is configured to scroll at least one page having different categories and the same attribute as that of a page displayed on the touch screen to the scroll direction according to a scroll direction and a position of the predefined area.

9. The mobile terminal of claim 5, wherein the controller is configured to move and display at least one item included in the first page to a second page, when a predetermined touch input is received in a state in which the plurality of pages are exposed on the touch screen.

The mobile terminal of claim 9, wherein the predetermined touch input comprises an input of dragging an item included in the first page to one area of the touch screen, an input of searching for the second page, and an input of dragging an item positioned at one area of the touch screen to the second page.

11. The mobile terminal of claim 2, wherein the scrolled plurality of pages are pages corresponding to at least one currently executing item, respectively.

12. The mobile terminal of claim 11, wherein the scroll input is a touch input of starting from a boundary surface of the touch screen.

13. The mobile terminal of claim 11, wherein the controller is configured to change a display characteristic of a page in which a predetermined event occurs, when the predetermined event occurs in an item corresponding to a specific page of the plurality of pages.

14. The mobile terminal of claim 11, wherein the controller is configured to;

extract at least one event occurred at each page,

generate a new page for displaying the at least one extracted event, and

control to display the new page on the touch screen, when a gesture input of continuously turning the plurality of pages exposed on the touch screen for a predetermined time period is received.

15. The mobile terminal of claim 2, wherein the controller is configured to display the selected page at an entire surface of the touch screen, when a touch input of selecting one page of the scrolled plurality of pages is received.

16. The mobile terminal of claim 2, wherein the controller is configured to control an item included in a specific page to be scrolled within the specific page, when a scroll input to the specific page is received in a state in which the plurality of pages are exposed on the touch screen.

17. The mobile terminal of claim 2, wherein the controller is configured to execute a selected item, when a touch input of selecting a specific item included in a specific page is received in a state in which the plurality of pages are exposed on the touch screen.

18. The mobile terminal of claim 2, wherein a separation gap of each page is adjusted according to a predetermined input in a state in which the plurality of pages are exposed on the touch screen.

19. The mobile terminal of claim 18, wherein the predetermined input comprises a drag input of approaching a specific page to the boundary surface or separating a specific page from the boundary surface.

20. The mobile terminal of claim 19, wherein the controller is configured to receive a touch input of selecting a specific page and adjust the separation gap of each page exposed on the touch screen in a lower order of the selected page as a reference.

21. The mobile terminal of claim 2, wherein the scroll input comprises a drag input, and

the controller is configured to control automatic scroll of the plurality of pages while the drag input is sustained.

22. The mobile terminal of claim 2, wherein the controller is configured to return the plurality of pages to a state before at least one page is scrolled, when a predetermined time has elapsed in a state in which the plurality of pages are exposed on the touch screen.

23. The mobile terminal of claim 1, wherein the item comprises at least one of a still picture, a moving picture, a data list, a text, and an application.

24. The mobile terminal of claim 1, wherein the touch screen comprises a panel for embodying stereoscopic vision.

25. A mobile terminal comprising:

a touch screen; and

a controller configured to;

control a predefined plurality of pages to be sequentially spread on the touch screen while being inclined along a drag path and

display each scrolled page in a three-dimensional shape as a length of an inclined surface is changed while each page is spread, when a drag input of starting from a predefined area on the touch screen is received.

26. The mobile terminal of claim 25, wherein the predefined plurality of pages comprise one of a plurality of pages classified according to a category or a plurality of pages corresponding to at least one currently executing item, respectively.

27. The mobile terminal of claim 25, wherein the length of the inclined surface becomes short as an inclined degree of the surface increases.

28. A method of controlling a mobile terminal, the method comprising:

displaying a page comprising at least one item on a touch screen;

receiving a scroll input of starting from a predefined area of the page on the touch screen; and

changing and displaying a slope of the page and a depth level of an inclined side surface of the page according to a scrolled distance.

29. A method of controlling a mobile terminal, the method comprising:

receiving a drag input of starting from a boundary surface of a touch screen;

sequentially spreading each of a predefined plurality of pages on the touch screen while inclining along a drag path; and

displaying each scrolled page in a three-dimensional shape by changing a length of the inclined surface while each page is spread.
