1. A detachment system, comprising:

  • a first piece of ferromagnetic material having a first side and a second side opposite said first side, said first piece of ferromagnetic material having magnetically printed field sources that extend from said first side to said second side, said magnetically printed field sources having a first multi-polarity pattern, said first side of said first piece of ferromagnetic material being magnetically attached to a second piece of ferromagnetic material;

    a shunt plate disposed on said second side of said first piece of ferromagnetic material, said shunt plate routing magnetic flux through said first piece of ferromagnetic material from said second side to said first side of said first ferromagnetic material; and

    at least one simple machine configured to amplify an applied force into a detachment force that creates an angled spacing between said first piece of ferromagnetic material and said second piece of ferromagnetic material.
