1. A superabrasive dresser, comprising:

  • a matrix support material configured for holding diamond grit to be used as abrasives;

    diamond grit disposed in the matrix support material in a predetermined pattern, wherein the grit protrudes above the metal matrix layer with equal height, andan alloy infiltrated through the matrix support material and the diamond grit, the alloy being bonded to the diamond grit and the matrix support materials, the alloy comprising a metal alloy that contains 2 to 50 percent of an element selected from the group consisting of chromium, manganese, silicon and aluminum.
