Abstract

A mobile terminal and data extracting method therein are provided, by which specific data meeting a specific condition can be selected and extracted conveniently and quickly in the course of displaying a data list constructed with a plurality of data. The mobile terminal receives an input of a touch action for selecting specific data and a classification condition corresponding to the specific data using a displayed data list upon receiving the input of the touch action, selects at least one data including the specific data as the data including the classification condition from a plurality of data, receives an input of an extraction command signal for extracting the selected data, and extracts the selected data upon receiving the input of the extraction command signal.

Claims

1. A mobile terminal comprising:

a touchscreen configured to receive and display information;

a memory configured to store a plurality of objects including one or more three-dimensional (3D) objects having 3D attributes and one or more two-dimensional (2D) objects having 2D attributes; and

a controller configured to

control the touchscreen to display the plurality of the objects; and

control the touchscreen to display at least one 2D object of the one or more 2D objects or at least one 3D object of the one or more 3D objects such that the at least one 2D object or 3D object is distinguished from the other of the plurality of displayed objects in response to a first touch action received via the touchscreen.

2. The mobile terminal of claim 1, wherein the controller is further configured to control the touchscreen to display the at least one 3D object such that it is distinguished from the other of the plurality of displayed objects in response to the first touch action.

3. The mobile terminal of claim 2, wherein the controller is further configured to control the touchscreen to display only the at least one 3D object and no longer display the other of the plurality of objects in response to the first touch action.

4. The mobile terminal of claim 2, wherein the controller is further configured to:

control the touchscreen to switch between a 3D mode and a 2D mode;

control the touchscreen to enable the 2D mode and display the plurality of the objects in 2D before the first touch action is received; and

control the touchscreen to switch from the 2D mode to the 3D mode and display the at least one 3D object in 3D in response to the first touch action.

5. The mobile terminal of claim 4, wherein the controller is further configured to control the touchscreen to switch from the 3D mode to the 2D mode and again display the plurality of the objects in 2D in response to a second touch action received via the touchscreen.

6. The mobile terminal of claim 1, wherein the controller is further configured to control the touchscreen to display the at least one 2D object such that it is distinguished from the other of the plurality of displayed objects in response to the first touch action.

7. The mobile terminal of claim 6, wherein the controller is further configured to control the touchscreen to display only the at least one 2D object and no longer display the other of the plurality of objects in response to the first touch action.

8. The mobile terminal of claim 6, wherein the controller is further configured to:

control the touchscreen to switch between a 3D mode and a 2D mode;

control the touch screen to enable the 2D mode and display the plurality of objects in 2D before the first touch action is applied; and

control the touchscreen to maintain the 2D mode in response to the first touch action.

9. The mobile terminal of claim 1, wherein the controller is further configured to:

control the touchscreen to enable a 3D mode while the plurality of the objects are displayed; and

control the touchscreen to display the one or more 3D objects in 3D and display the one or more 2D objects in 2D.

10. The mobile terminal of claim 1, wherein the controller is further configured to:

control the touchscreen to sequentially display at least a first home screen and a second home screen; and

control the touchscreen to display the plurality of the objects such that they are distributed between the at least first and second home screens.

11. The mobile terminal of claim 10, the controller is further configured to control the touchscreen to no longer display the at least first home screen and display only the second home screen in response to a second touch action.

12. The mobile terminal of claim 10, wherein the controller is further configured to control the touchscreen to display 3D objects on the first home screen such that they are distinguished from 3D objects displayed on the second home screen in response to the first touch action.

13. The mobile terminal of claim 2, wherein the controller is further configured to control the touchscreen to display the least one 3D object at a specific 3D depth.

14. The mobile terminal of claim 13, wherein the controller is further configured to control the touchscreen to display a specific 3D object having a specific 3D depth such that it is further distinguished from the at least one 3D object in response to a second touch action.

15. A mobile terminal comprising:

a touchscreen configured to receive and display information; and

a controller configured to;

control the touchscreen to display a plurality of the objects at different three-dimensional (3D) depths according to a first classification criterion; and

control the touchscreen to display a first object of the plurality of the objects that has a first 3D depth such that it is distinguished from other of the plurality of objects in response to a first touch action received via the touchscreen.

16. The mobile terminal of claim 15, wherein the controller is further configured to control the touchscreen to display only the first object and no longer display the other of the plurality of objects in response to the first touch action.

17. The mobile terminal of claim 15, wherein the controller is further configured to control the touchscreen to no longer display the first object in response to the first touch action.

18. The mobile terminal of claim 15, wherein the controller is further configured to:

control the touchscreen to display the first object at the first 3D depth according to the first classification criterion; and

control the touchscreen to display the first object at a different 3D depth according to a second classification criterion.

The mobile terminal of claim 18, wherein the controller is further configured to control the touchscreen to display a second object of the plurality of objects that has a second 3D depth such that it is distinguished from the first object in response to a second touch action received via the touchscreen.

20. The mobile terminal of claim 19, wherein the controller is further configured to control the touchscreen to display only the first object and second object and no longer display the other of the plurality of objects in response to a third touch action received via the touchscreen.

21. The mobile terminal of claim 20, wherein the controller is further configured to control the touchscreen to display at least a third object of the plurality of the objects at a third 3D depth according to a third classification criterion.

22. A mobile terminal comprising:

a touchscreen configured to receive and display information;

a memory configured to store a first folder including at least a first file and a second folder including at least a second file; and

a controller configured to;

control the touchscreen to display the first folder at a first depth and display the second folder at a second depth according to a first classification criterion; and

control the touchscreen to display the at least first file at the first depth, display the at least second file at the second depth and no longer display the first folder and second folder in response to a specific touch action received via the touchscreen.

23. A method of controlling a mobile terminal, the method comprising:

displaying a plurality of objects on a touchscreen, the plurality of objects including one or more 3D objects having 3D attributes and one or more 2D objects having 2D attributes; and

displaying at least one 2D object of the one or more 2D objects or at least one 3D object of the one or more 3D objects such that the at least one 2D object or 3D object is distinguished from the other of the plurality of displayed objects in response to a first touch action received via the touchscreen.

24. A method of controlling a mobile terminal, the method comprising:

displaying a plurality of the objects at different three-dimensional (3D) depths according to a first classification criterion; and

displaying a first object of the plurality of the objects that has a first 3D depth such that it is distinguished from other of the plurality of objects in response to a first touch action received via the touchscreen.

25. A method of controlling a mobile terminal, the method comprising:

displaying a first folder including at least a first file and a second folder including at least a second file on a touchscreen according to a first classification criterion, the first folder displayed at a first depth and the second folder displayed at a second depth;

displaying the at least first file at the first depth, displaying the at least second file at the second depth and mo longer displaying the first and second folders in response to a specific touch action received via the touchscreen.
