Abstract

Disclosed is a control method for a display apparatus and a mobile terminal which includes a camera for taking a photograph and generating an image; a voice input unit which is used to input a voice; a user input unit which receives a user'"'"'s input; a display unit which displays the image thereon; a wireless communication unit which communicates with a counterpart mobile terminal through a wireless network; and a controller which performs a video call by transmitting to the counterpart mobile terminal video call data comprising a video generated by the camera and a voice input by the voice input unit according user input, displays on the display unit a shared image during the video call, and transmits to the counterpart mobile terminal the shared image added to the video call data.

Claims

1. A mobile terminal comprising:

a camera which captures an image and generates video;

a voice input unit which is used to input voice;

a user input unit which receives user input;

a display unit which displays the image;

a wireless communication unit which communicates with a counterpart mobile terminal through a wireless network; and

a controller which performs a video call by transmitting, to the counterpart mobile terminal, video call data including the video generated by the camera and the voice input by the voice input unit, displays, on the display unit, a shared image during the video call, and transmits to the counterpart mobile terminal the shared image,

wherein the controller edits the shared image according to the user input, and transmits to the counterpart mobile terminal the edited information of the shared image added to the video call data.

2. The mobile terminal according to claim 1, wherein the user input unit detects a user gesture on the display unit, and the edited information corresponds to the user'"'"'s gesture.

3. The mobile terminal according to claim 2, wherein the user input unit comprises a touch screen which detects a touch of the user gesture on the display unit.

4. The mobile terminal according to claim 1, wherein the user input unit receives the user input in text form, and the edited information corresponds to the received text.

The mobile terminal according to claim 1, wherein the wireless communication unit receives counterpart edited information of the shared image from the counterpart mobile terminal, and the controller displays, on the display unit, the shared image reflecting the edited information of the counterpart mobile terminal.

6. The mobile terminal according to claim 1, wherein the wireless communication unit receives selection information of the shared image from the counterpart mobile terminal, and the controller selects the shared image according to the selection information.

7. The mobile terminal according to claim 1, wherein the controller displays on the display unit the shared image together with a video of the video call during the video call.

8. A control method of a mobile terminal connected to a counterpart mobile terminal through a wireless network, the control method comprising:

performing a video call by transmitting and receiving video call data including video and voice to and from the counterpart mobile terminal;

displaying a shared image during the video call;

transmitting the video call data to the counterpart mobile terminal; and

editing the shared image according to a user input,

wherein transmitting the video call data comprises transmitting, to the counterpart mobile terminal, edited information of the shared image.

9. The control method according to claim 8, wherein editing the shared image comprises detecting a user gesture on the mobile terminal, and wherein the edited information corresponds to the user gesture.

10. The control method according to claim 9, wherein detecting the user gesture comprises detecting a touch of the user gesture on the mobile terminal.

11. The control method according to claim 8, wherein editing the shared image comprises receiving the user input in text form, and the edited information corresponds to the received text.

12. The control method according to claim 8, further comprising:

receiving edited information of the counterpart mobile terminal for the shared image from the counterpart mobile terminal; and

displaying the shared image reflecting the edited information of the counterpart mobile terminal.

13. The control method according to claim 8, further comprising:

receiving selection information of the shared image from the counterpart mobile terminal; and

selecting the shared image according to the selection information.

14. The control method according to claim 8, wherein displaying the shared image comprises displaying the shared image together with a video of the video call during the video call.

15. A mobile terminal comprising:

a camera which captures an image and generates video;

a voice input unit which is used to input voice;

a display unit which displays the image;

a wireless communication unit which communicates with a counterpart mobile terminal and at least one electronic device having a display function through a wireless network; and

a controller which performs a video call by transmitting, to the counterpart mobile terminal, video call data including the video generated by the camera and the voice input by the voice input unit, receives a shared image from the counterpart mobile terminal during the video call, and transmits the shared image to the electronic device,

wherein the shared image comprises edited information, and the controller transmits the edited information to the electronic device.

16. The mobile terminal according to claim 15, wherein the wireless communication unit receives edited information of a user from the electronic device, and the controller transmits the edited information of the user to the counterpart mobile terminal.

17. The mobile terminal according to claim 15, further comprising a user input unit which receives a user input, wherein the controller selects the shared image according to the user input and transmits selection information of the shared image to the counterpart mobile terminal.

18. The mobile terminal according to claim 15, further comprising a user input unit which receives a user input, wherein the controller transmits the shared image to at least one of a plurality of electronic devices selected according to the user input.

19. The mobile terminal according to claim 15, wherein the controller selects an electronic device to which the shared image is transmitted, based on a characteristic of each electronic device.

20. The mobile terminal according to claim 19, wherein the controller converts the shared image to be transmitted corresponding to the characteristic of the selected electronic device.

21. The mobile terminal according to claim 15, wherein the controller selects an electronic device to which the shared image is transmitted based on a characteristic of the shared image, among a plurality of electronic devices.

22. The mobile terminal according to claim 15, wherein the controller selects the electronic device to which the shared image is transmitted based on a characteristic of a user, among a plurality of electronic devices.

23. A mobile terminal comprising:

a camera which captures an image and generates video;

a voice input unit which is used to input voice;

a user input unit which receives user input;

a display unit which displays the image;

a wireless communication unit which communicates with a counterpart mobile terminal through a wireless network; and

a controller which performs a video call by transmitting, to the counterpart mobile terminal, video call data including the video generated by the camera and the voice input by the voice input unit, displays, on the display unit, a shared map image during the video call, and transmits to the counterpart mobile terminal the shared map image,

wherein the controller edits the shared map image according to the user input, and transmits to the counterpart mobile terminal the edited information of the shared map image.

24. The mobile terminal according to claim 23, wherein the user input unit detects a user gesture to the shared map image displayed on the display unit, and the edited information corresponds to the user'"'"'s gesture.

25. The mobile terminal according to claim 23, wherein the edited information comprises direction information which is added to the shared map image by the user gesture.

26. The mobile terminal according to claim 23, wherein the edited information comprises location information which is added to the shared map image by the user gesture.
