Abstract

System and method for trackable applications including an application providing unit, a controller, and an incentive tracker. The application providing unit is adapted to send a trackable application upon request. The controller is adapted to receive interactions from the trackable application. The incentive tracker is adapted to select an incentive based on the interaction data. The controller is further adapted to send the selected incentive to the trackable application.

Claims

1. A system for trackable applications comprising:

an application providing unit adapted to send a trackable application upon request;

a controller adapted to receive interactions from the trackable application;

an incentive tracker adapted to select an incentive based on the interaction data; and

the controller further adapted to send the selected incentive to the trackable application.

2. The system according to claim 1, the selected incentive tracker adapted to select the incentive further based on content in which the trackable application is embedded.

3. The system according to claim 1, wherein the trackable application is a game and the incentive comprise information about other users playing the game.

4. The system according to claim 1, wherein the incentive comprise information regarding rewards for a user of the trackable application.

5. The system according to claim 4, wherein the rewards are provided by a third party provider of the trackable application.

6. The system according to claim 4, wherein the rewards are provided by a third party provider of content in which the trackable application is embedded.

7. The system according to claim 1, wherein the application providing unit is further adapted to embed the trackable application into content requested by a user and to send the trackable application embedded in the content.

8. A method implemented on a machine having at least one processor, storage, and a communication platform connected to a network of tracking context aware applications comprising:

receiving, by an application delivery system, a request for a trackable application;

sending, by the application delivery system, the trackable application;

receiving, by the application delivery system, interactions from the trackable application;

selecting, by the application delivery system, an incentive based on the interaction data; and

sending, by the application delivery system, the incentive to the trackable application.

9. The method according to claim 8, selecting the selected incentive further based on content in which the trackable application is embedded.

10. The method according to claim 8, wherein the trackable application is a game and the incentives comprise information about other users playing the game.

11. The method according to claim 8, wherein the selected incentive comprise information regarding rewards for a user of the trackable application.

12. The method according to claim 11, wherein the rewards are provided by a third party provider of the trackable application.

13. The method according to claim 11, wherein the rewards are provided by a third party provider of content in which the trackable application is embedded.

14. The method according to claim 8, embedding the trackable application into content requested by a user;

and

sending the trackable application embedded in the content.

15. A machine-readable and non-transitory medium having information recorded thereon, wherein the information, when read by a machine, causes the machine to perform a method of tracking context aware applications comprising:

receiving a request for a trackable application;

sending the trackable application;

receiving interactions from the trackable application;

selecting an incentive based on the interaction data and content in which the trackable application is embedded; and

sending the incentive to the trackable application.

16. The machine-readable medium according to claim 15, selecting the incentives further based on content in which the trackable application is embedded.

17. The machine-readable medium according to claim 15, wherein the trackable application is a game and the incentives comprise information about other users playing the game.

18. The machine-readable medium according to claim 15, wherein incentives comprise information regarding rewards for a user of the trackable application.

19. The machine-readable medium according to claim 18, wherein the rewards are provided by a third party provider of the trackable application.

20. The machine-readable medium according to claim 18, wherein the rewards are provided by a third party provider of the content in which the trackable application is embedded.
