Abstract

Methods, systems, and products measure health data related to a user. Often times a weight scale, blood pressure monitor, or other medical measurement device is shared among a group of users. A time-stamped physiological measurement is compared to a time-stamped message from a mobile device. If the timestamps are contemporaneous, then the physiological measurement is bound to the mobile device.

Claims

1. A method of measuring health, comprising:

receiving, at a server, a time associated with a device identifier of a mobile device;

receiving, at the server, the time associated with a physiological measurement sent from a medical measurement device;

determining the time associated with the device identifier is contemporaneous with the time associated with the physiological measurement; and

binding the physiological measurement to the device identifier of the mobile device in response to the contemporaneous determination.

2. The method of claim 1, further comprising determining the time associated with the device identifier is not contemporaneous with the time associated with the physiological measurement.

3. The method of claim 2, further comprising declining to bind the physiological measurement to the device identifier.

4. The method of claim 1, further comprising retrieving a name of a user associated with the device identifier.

5. The method of claim 4, further comprising binding the physiological measurement to the name of the user.

6. The method of claim 1, further comprising retrieving names of a group of users associated with the medical measurement device.

7. The method of claim 6, further comprising retrieving a name of a user associated with the device identifier.

8. The method of claim 7, further comprising:

determining a match between the name of the user and one name in the group of names; and

binding the physiological measurement to the one name in response to the match.

9. A system, comprising:

a processor; and

memory storing code that when executed causes the processor to perform operations, the operations comprising;

receiving a time associated with a device identifier of a mobile device;

receiving the time associated with a physiological measurement sent from a medical measurement device;

determining the time associated with the device identifier is contemporaneous with the time associated with the physiological measurement; and

binding the physiological measurement to the device identifier of the mobile device in response to the contemporaneous determination.

10. The system of claim 9, wherein the operations further comprise determining the time associated with the device identifier is not contemporaneous with the time associated with the physiological measurement.

11. The system of claim 10, wherein the operations further comprise declining to bind the physiological measurement to the device identifier.

12. The system of claim 9, wherein the operations further comprise retrieving a name of a user associated with the device identifier.

13. The system of claim 12, wherein the operations further comprise binding the physiological measurement to the name of the user.

14. The system of claim 9, wherein the operations further comprise retrieving names of a group of users associated with the medical measurement device.

15. The system of claim 14, wherein the operations further comprise retrieving a name of a user associated with the device identifier.

16. The system of claim 15, wherein the operations further comprise:

determining a match between the name of the user and one name in the group of names; and

binding the physiological measurement to the one name in response to the match.

17. A memory storing code that when executed causes a processor to perform operations, the operations comprising:

receiving a time associated with a device identifier of a mobile device;

receiving the time associated with a physiological measurement sent from a medical measurement device;

determining the time associated with the device identifier is contemporaneous with the time associated with the physiological measurement; and

binding the physiological measurement to the device identifier of the mobile device in response to the contemporaneous determination.

18. The memory of claim 17, wherein the operations further comprise retrieving names of a group of users associated with the medical measurement device.

19. The memory of claim 18, wherein the operations further comprise retrieving a name of a user associated with the device identifier.

20. The memory of claim 19, wherein the operations further comprise:

determining a match between the name of the user and one name in the group of names; and

binding the physiological measurement to the one name in response to the match.
