Methods and Systems for Providing Risk Profile Analytics
First Claim
1. A method for determining a risk profile of a driver of a vehicle using improved driver metrics, which comprises:
- determining driver characteristics of a driver as the driver encounters one or more locations that have an associated weighted accident history; and
comparing the determined driver characteristics of the driver to a normal distribution curve of driving characteristic data at one or more of the locations encountered by the driver.

Abstract
A risk profile system determines a risk profile of a driver of a vehicle using improved driver metrics. Driver characteristics of a driver are determined as the driver encounters one or more locations that have an associated weighted accident history. The determined driver characteristics of the driver are compared to a normal distribution curve of driving characteristic data at one or more of the locations encountered by the driver.
A risk profile system determines improved driver metrics. A weighted accident history is determined for one or more locations. A normal distribution curve is determined for driving characteristic data of a plurality of drivers at each of the one or more locations.
