Abstract

Systems and methods for generating incentive offers for road use are provider. Incentive offers may be generated by a service provider server. The incentive offers may be generated b identifying, by the computer having at least one processor, at least one use-condition associated with a transit point based at least in part on historical transit data. The generating the incentive offers may include generating one or more offers for a plurality of toll collections passes configured to enable the at least one use-condition associated with the transit point. Further, the method may provide for facilitating a distribution for the one or more incentive offers to a use group.

Claims

1. A method comprising:

identifying, by a computer having at least one processor, at least one use-condition associated with a transit point based at least in part on historical transit data;

generating, by the computer, one or more offers for a plurality of electronic toll passes configured to enable the at least one use-condition associated with the transit point; and

facilitating, by the computer, a distribution of the one or more offers to a user group.

2. The method of claim 1 wherein identifying at least one use-condition associated with a transit point further comprises determining an applied incentive associated with the one or more offers.

3. The method of claim 2, wherein the applied incentive further comprises of one of:

(i) a fixed monetary discount,

(ii) a percentage discount,

(iii) a fixed monetary increase;

or

(iv) a percentage penalty.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein identifying the at least one use-condition associated with a transit point further comprises determining a redemption period.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein identifying at least one use-condition associated with a transit point further comprises selecting the transit point based at least in part on analyzing historical transit data.

6. The method of claim 5, wherein selecting transit point further comprises:

identifying, by the computer, a first location associated with a first parameter indicative of traffic flow; and

selecting, by the computer, the transit point based at least in part on the first location, wherein the transit point is selected to achieve predetermined usage in comparison with the first location.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein the at least one use-condition includes one or more of the following:

reducing vehicle traffic at the transit point;

routing vehicle traffic from a first location to the transit point;

reducing vehicle traffic at a given time;

or

reducing vehicle traffic in a given area.

The method of claim 1, wherein generating one or more offers for a plurality of electronic toll pass configured to enable at least one conditioned-use associated with the transit point further comprises selecting a cap value for the one or more offers, wherein the cap value is a limit on a total number of offers distributed.

9. The method of claim 1, wherein facilitating the distribution for the one or more offers to a user group further comprises transmitting the one or more offers to a user interface

10. The method of claim 1, wherein facilitating the distribution of one or more offers to a user group further comprises managing a purchase of at least one of the one or more offers from a user.

11. The method of claim 10, further comprises receiving information associated with a purchase of at least one of the one or more offers, wherein the information identifies a user account associated with a transit profile.

12. The method of claim 10, further comprising:

generating a certificate identifying at least one of the one or more offers.

13. The method of claim 12, further comprises generating an encrypted signal associated with the generated certificate.

14. The method of claim 12, further comprising conditioning the activation of the certificate based at least in part upon receiving a vehicle identification associated with a vehicle.

15. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

identifying a vehicle associated with a purchase of each of the at least one of the plurality of electronic toll passes; and

transmitting a configuration to the identified vehicle indicating the at least one of the plurality of electronic toll passes.

16. The method of claim 8, further comprising:

receiving data indicating transit of a vehicle approximate the transit point;

identifying a user associated with the vehicle;

redeeming the coupon if the transit of the vehicle occurred within the redemption period; and

debiting a user account if the transit of the vehicle did not occur within the redemption period.

17. A system comprising:

a radio frequency identification transmitter configured to transmit one or more certificates associated with an electronic toll pass;

a receiver module configured to receive one or more certificates associated with an electronic toll pass; and

a security module configured to authenticate a vehicle associated with one or more certificates.

18. A system of claim 17, wherein the security module further comprises the security module configured to energize the radio frequency identification transmitter upon a successful authentication.

19. The system of claim 17, wherein the radio frequency identification transmitter comprises an active radio frequency identification transmitter.

20. The system of claim 17, wherein the radio frequency identification transmitter comprises a passive radio frequency identification tag.

21. The system of claim 17, wherein the security module is further configured to deactivate upon failed authentication.

22. A system comprising:

at least one memory including computer-executable instructions;

at least one communications interface; and

at least one processor in communication with the at least one communications interface and the at least one memory and configured to pair with execute the computer-executable instructions to;

identify at least one use condition associated with a transit point based at least in part on historical traffic data;

generate one or more offers for a plurality of toll collections passes configured to enable the at least one use-condition associated with the transit point; and

facilitate a distribution for the one or more offers to a user group.

23. The system of claim 22, wherein the at least one processor is further configured to execute the computer-executable instructions to determine an applied incentive associated with the one or more offers.

24. The system of claim 23, wherein the applied incentive comprises one of (i) a fixed monetary discount, (ii) a percentage discount, (iii) a fixed monetary penalty, or (iv) a percentage increase.

25. The method of claim 22, wherein the identified at least one use-condition comprises selecting the transit point based at least in part on analyzing historical transit data.

26. The system of claim 22, wherein the at least one processor is further configured to execute the computer-executable instructions to:

identify a first location associated with a first parameter indicative of traffic flow; and

select the transit point based at least in part on the first location, wherein the transit point is selected to achieve predetermined usage in comparison with the first location.

27. The system of claim 22, wherein the short range radio module at least one use-condition further comprises one of the following:

(i) reducing vehicle traffic at the transit point;

(ii) routing vehicle traffic from a first location to the transit point;

(iii) reducing vehicle traffic at a given time;

or

(iv) reducing vehicle traffic in a given area.

28. The system of claim 22, wherein the use-condition further includes:

selecting a cap value, wherein the cap value is a limit on the total number of the one or more offers generated.

29. The system of claim 22, wherein the distribution of one or more offers further comprises a transmission of the one or more incentive offers to a user-interface

30. The system of claim 22, wherein the distribution of one or more offers further comprises managing a purchase of at least one of the one or more offers from a user.

31. The system of claim 30, wherein the at least one processor is further configured to deactivate the execute the computer-executable instructions to:

receive information associated with a purchase of at least one of the one or more offers, wherein the information identifies a user account associated with a transit profile.
