Abstract

A method of adjusting an event prompt degree and a mobile electronic device and a computer program product using the same are provided. In the present method, when the mobile electronic device executes a ringtone prompt, whether the mobile electronic device is moved is determined. When the mobile electronic device is determined to be moved, the ringtone prompt is reduced without turning off the vibration prompt or the ringtone prompt. Thereby, continuous event prompt is prevented from bothering other people.

Claims

1. A method of adjusting an event prompt degree, configured for a mobile electronic device, the method comprising:

lowering a volume of a ringtone prompt corresponding to an event without turning off the ringtone prompt based on whether the mobile electronic device is moved.

2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the step of lowering the volume of the ringtone prompt based on whether the mobile electronic device is moved further comprises:

determining whether the mobile electronic device is moved; and

lowering the volume of the ringtone prompt after the mobile electronic device is determined to be moved.

3. The method according to claim 2, wherein the step of determining whether the mobile electronic device is moved comprises:

determining whether the mobile electronic device is moved according to an angle variation of the mobile electronic device, wherein the angle variation of the mobile electronic device is determined according to an initial angle and a current angle of the mobile electronic device.

4. The method according to claim 3, wherein the step of determining whether the mobile electronic device is moved further comprises:

determining whether the angle variation of the mobile electronic device is greater than an angle threshold; and

determining that the mobile electronic device is moved when the angle variation of the mobile electronic device is greater than the angle threshold.

5. The method according to claim 3, wherein the initial angle of the mobile electronic device is obtained in response to receipt of the event.

6. The method according to claim 2, further comprising:

determining whether the mobile electronic device is in a level state before determining whether the mobile electronic device is moved; and

after the mobile electronic device is determined to be in the level state, determining whether the mobile electronic device is moved.

7. The method according to claim 6, wherein the step of determining whether the mobile electronic device is in the level state comprises:

obtaining an inclination angle of the mobile electronic device; and

determining that the mobile electronic device is in the level state when the inclination angle of the mobile electronic device is within a predetermined angle range for a predetermined period.

8. The method according to claim 2, further comprising:

determining whether the mobile electronic device is in a steady state before determining whether the mobile electronic device is moved; and

after the mobile electronic device is determined to be in the steady state, determining whether the mobile electronic device is moved during the execution of the ringtone prompt corresponding to the event.

9. The method according to claim 8, wherein the step of determining whether the mobile electronic device is in the steady state comprises:

obtaining an acceleration variation of the mobile electronic device; and

determining that the mobile electronic device is in the steady state when the acceleration variation of the mobile electronic device is within a predetermined acceleration variation range for a predetermined period.

10. The method according to claim 1, wherein the step of lowering the volume of the ringtone prompt further comprises:

gradually lowering the volume of the ringtone prompt to a minimum volume without turning off the ringtone prompt.

11. The method according to claim 1, further comprising:

turning off a vibration prompt corresponding to the event based on whether the mobile electronic device is moved.

12. A mobile electronic device, comprising:

a sensor; and

a processing unit, coupled to the sensor and configured to lower a volume of a ringtone prompt corresponding to an event without turning off the ringtone prompt based on whether the mobile electronic device is moved.

13. The mobile electronic device according to claim 12, wherein the processing unit is configured to determine whether the mobile electronic device is moved according to the sensor and to lower the volume of the ringtone prompt after the mobile electronic device is determined to be moved.

The mobile electronic device according to claim 13, wherein the processing unit is further configured to obtain a initial angle and a current angle of the mobile electronic device through the sensor to determine an angle variation of the mobile electronic device, wherein the processing unit is further configured to determine whether the mobile electronic device is moved according the angle variation of the mobile electronic device.

The mobile electronic device according to claim 14, wherein the processing unit is further configured to determine whether an angle variation of the mobile electronic device is greater than an angle threshold, wherein the processing unit is configured to determine that the mobile electronic device is moved when the angle variation of the mobile electronic device is greater than the angle threshold.

16. The mobile electronic device according to claim 14, wherein the processing unit is configured to obtain the initial angle of the mobile electronic device in response to receipt of the event.

17. The mobile electronic device according to claim 13, wherein the processing unit is further configured to determine whether the mobile electronic device is in a level state before determining whether the mobile electronic device is moved, wherein the processing unit is configured to determine whether the mobile electronic device is moved after the mobile electronic device is determined to be in the level state.

The mobile electronic device according to claim 13, wherein the processing unit is further configured to determine whether the mobile electronic device is in a steady state before determining whether the mobile electronic device is moved, wherein the processing unit is configured to determine whether the mobile electronic device is moved after the mobile electronic device is determined to be in the steady state.

19. The mobile electronic device according to claim 12, wherein the processing unit is further configured to gradually lower the volume of the ringtone prompt to a minimum volume without turning off the ringtone prompt.

20. The mobile electronic device according to claim 12, wherein the processing unit is further configured to turn off a vibration prompt corresponding to the event based on whether the mobile electronic device is moved.
